As a result, unspent minutes and Internet accumulate on the user's account. The new tariffs allow you to transfer the rest of the traffic and minutes to the next month. Thus, subscribers can use the operator's services more actively in the future without additional costs.

Saving minutes and gigabytes for the next month is a convenient and fair service, but there are some tricks here. According to the terms of the operator, the number of transferred minutes of conversation cannot exceed the number of the main package. How it looks in practice:

  • the number of minutes according to the tariff in the current month is 350 minutes;
  • the subscriber still has 250 unused minutes from the previous period;
  • taking into account the transfer of balances, in the current month, the user will have access to 600 minutes of conversation (250 + 350);
  • for the current period, the subscriber spent only 50 minutes, according to the logic, there should be a transfer to the next month in the amount of 550 minutes;
  • however, the operator will add only 350 additional minutes to the tariff plan, since 550 minutes exceed the conditions of the main package;
  • next month the subscriber will have access to 700 minutes (350 + 350).

Implementation of the rest of the Internet

The saving of gigabytes for the next month occurs in the same manner as the transfer of minutes in the MTS network. The amount of traffic cannot exceed the conditions of the main package, the accumulated MB are not summed up. Therefore, at the beginning, the subscriber consumes the saved traffic from the previous period, then the main quota is connected. Unspent MB from the previous month that were not spent in the current month are not transferred to the next.

Saving traffic and gigabytes is a good example:

  • the user is offered 10 GB per month under the terms of the tariff plan;
  • from the previous period, the subscriber has 9 unused GB that flow into the current period. At the same time, traffic is divided into new and old MB;
  • the "old" 9 GB go first;
  • if the user spent only 2 GB from the “old reserves”, and the new 10 remained unchanged, then 10 GB will be credited for the next month according to the tariff plan and 10 GB for the balance of the last month (10, not 17, as it turns out arithmetically).

Important: the new service for transferring balances to the next month is automatic. The user does not need to perform any automatic actions, the summation of minutes and megabytes is carried out by the operator.

What tariffs provide for the transfer of minutes and traffic?

A popular plan is Smart Unlimited. As part of its use, the user is presented with 5 GB of Internet, 500 free minutes and SMS to the numbers of the selected region.

Tariff "Smart +" - the monthly fee will be from 175 rubles per week. The user is given 350 minutes to talk with subscribers in his region. Intercity is not included in free services. The user in the MTS Smart tariff also has 350 SMS messages and 7 GB of traffic.

"Smart Top" - the terms of the tariff have not changed, except for saving minutes for the future period. The monthly fee is 1600 rubles. This amount includes 3000 minutes to all numbers in Russia, without restrictions on regions. The user also receives 3000 free messages and 15 GB of traffic.

"ULTRA" - a tariff plan that provides for the preservation of traffic for the next period. The monthly fee will be 2,700 rubles. The subscriber is provided with 5000 minutes available for all operators in the country. Unlimited communication with MTS subscribers is provided. The tariff includes 5000 SMS messages and 20 GB of traffic.

How to connect tariffs with transfer of services?

These tariffs provide for an advance payment for the proposed options. Upgrading to the selected plan is free. To switch to a new plan, you need to contact the operator or visit a mobile phone salon. The easiest and most accessible way is still quick commands.

At the end of January 2017, the Russian cellular company Tele2 launched a unique service called “Balance Transfer”. Everything that is paid for will be spent - from now on, the balance of minutes, SMS notifications and traffic that the subscriber has not spent for the month, provided under the terms of the tariff plan, will not burn out, they will be transferred to the next month. This is a perfect example of a marketing policy based on special offers.

The terms of this service assume the preservation of unused packages of minutes, SMS notifications and megabytes for Internet access with their transfer to the next month.

Example:

If the subscriber's tariff includes 400 minutes, and in 30 days he spent only 200 of them, then the next month he will receive 200 (balance) + 400 (updated package) = 600 minutes for free communication.

Similarly, the transfer of unspent SMS messages and the remaining traffic is carried out. At the same time, at the beginning of a new month, those packages that were listed from the previous period will be written off, and only then only newly accrued ones.

Saving on a mandatory subscription fee and stretching the existing set of packages for 2 months will not work - the rest will be transferred only after the subscription fee for the coming month has been paid. So you still have to replenish your balance.

Note! The transfer of the remaining packages to Tele2 will not be unlimited - it only applies to the previous month, all earlier remnants are burned out.

Example:

When the subscriber used only 100 minutes out of 400 provided, and only 200 minutes next month (after transferring the balance), the remaining 100 minutes are no longer transferred to the third period.

The transfer of unused packages makes it possible not to lose the paid, using your own cellular more rationally. How the service is activated

Before connecting the service called "Transfer of balances", let's remember the above - it is compatible only with tariff plans from the "Black" family. The service is already connected to them automatically - no USSD commands need to be entered into the phone. It will not be possible to activate it on other tariffs from the Tele2 mobile operator. In such a situation, there is only one way out - connect to one of the tariff packages of the "Black" line.

To view the balances by packages, you need to type the USSD command:

  • – * 155 * 0 # and then send a call.
  • - * 153 #, and after the call.
  • How many SMS messages - * 155 * 2 #, and then make a call.

Activation of this service is not available on all tariff plans. The remaining minutes, SMS and Megabytes are subject to transfer to access the network.

Service restrictions

The transfer of balances to Tele2 is intended exclusively for current tariff packages. This service is not available for already archived versions.

This service operates in conjunction only with tariffs from the "Black" family. It is not available on all other tariff plans.

There are also restrictions on the regions of the country. In many, the service simply does not fully function. But at the moment the list is quite extensive, so we will not consider it. Remaining traffic is not migrated in the following areas:

  • Moscow and region;
  • Novosibirsk;
  • Volgograd;
  • Voronezh;
  • Saratov.

How to find out the rest of the USB modem traffic?

First of all, we note that you can always turn off the modem, remove the SIM card from it, insert it into the phone and send the appropriate USSD request to check the remaining traffic. This option is only suitable for older modem models, in all other cases, frankly, it is simply inconvenient.

MTS made sure that the use of the services was as comfortable as possible for you. It looks like this: when the device is connected to the computer for the first time, the Connect Manager program (the name may vary depending on the version) is automatically installed on it - special software for managing the modem.
Open this program and carefully study the menu: there should be a block with USSD commands, in which you will find something similar to "Remaining traffic for the current period." Click on this command and you will immediately receive the required information.

If there is no section with USSD requests (old software version), then simply find the call menu in the modem control program, enter the command *217# and press the call. The necessary information will again be sent to your modem in the form of a message.

How to check with a tablet?

By and large, the vast majority of tablets do not differ in functionality from smartphones, so the methods for determining the rest of the traffic for these devices are similar. Connection conditions

Before you switch to a certain tariff, you must carefully read the basic conditions for connection. These include:

  1. Mandatory payments for using a federal number are 400 rubles (for Moscow and the Moscow Region), and for a city number 304.8 rubles.
  2. A certain number of minutes, SMS and Internet traffic is provided monthly, as determined by the conditions. The amount may vary depending on where you live.
  3. Incoming calls are not charged. Outgoing calls to MTS are provided free of charge (a package of minutes is consumed first), and the client also receives a certain number of minutes (200 for Moscow) for calls to SIM cards of other operators. The fee for calls in excess of the provided minutes is 3 rubles for SIM cards of other operators.
  4. SMS messages over the package established by the terms of the tariff are charged at 2 rubles in the home region and 3 rubles for SIM cards of the Russian Federation.

Rules for disconnecting the Smart tariff from MTS

If the subscriber realizes that the Smart tariff does not suit him, and he wants to receive other conditions for calls and the Internet, then he should disconnect from it.

Many customers are sure that in order to switch to a new selected tariff, they must turn off the old one without fail.

However, this is not the case, and in order to switch the billing, you just need to select a new one and activate it, and the Smart tariff will cease to operate automatically.

Ways to change the tariff include:

  • disconnection through the application "My MTS";
  • a call to the operator and a request to turn off the current billing;
  • visiting and independent change of tariff;
  • visiting the MTS sales office and contacting an employee to help cancel Smart.

Before activating "Smart", you need to know the basic conditions for the tariff:

  1. After the activation of "Smart", the full amount of the monthly payment is debited. Then the full amount is debited on the day of connection once a month. If the client's number is blocked, then debits from the mobile account will be made after its activation. For a whole month, if the SIM card has been blocked, no fee will be charged.
  2. If the client connects or changes the number to a landline, the "Unlimited call forwarding from direct number" service is additionally connected to it. This service cannot be disabled, it can only be canceled if the number is changed to a federal one. Its cost is set at 304.80 rubles. Upon activation, the “City number” option will be automatically connected, that is, additional digits will be allocated for the “495” number.

  • Unlimited calls to MTS in Russia is cool, of course, but these calls consume a package of minutes. A little bit of greed.
  • The minutes of calls and SMS included in the package are valid only in the home region, all calls and SMS to other regions, except for calls to MTS, are paid!
  • Unused minutes, SMS and traffic are not transferred to the next month.
  • When connecting / switching to the tariff, a “bunch” of additional options is activated, in particular: GoodOk, they called you! etc. Be sure to turn off services you do not need through your personal account if you do not want to “write off” money from your account.
  • If you insert a SIM card with the My Smart tariff into the modem, Internet access will be blocked.
