Recently Russian company Turbo, which produces electronic equipment, presented a completely new smartphone Turbo X6 Z Star. Today we will take a closer look at this new product.

Design, construction
When I first picked up this smartphone, I thought: “Damn it, what beautiful smartphone. He will definitely stand out among the others." Huge, not just big, but a huge display with a diagonal of 6 inches immediately catches the eye. The first impression did not deceive me with tactile sensations.
Do you know what surprised? Plastic. This matte plastic fits perfectly in my palm. Involuntarily pay attention to him rounded corners, they are edged with an aluminum insert stretched along the contour from 3 sides. On the left is the volume rocker button. On the top right is the power off button of the device, and on the bottom you can find the camera power button.
As I said, on the front side is a huge 6-inch display.
Above the display we see the proximity and sacredness sensor, in the middle is the speaker, and on the left is the front camera. All elements look ergonomic, nothing more.
Looking down, under the display you can find 3 touch keys - these are "Properties", "Home" and "Back".
Appreciating the work of the designers of this device, I admire the rounded front panel, which smoothly flows into the back of the smartphone, and they are separated by the input for the microUSB cable, which is recessed into the case.
Turning to the back of the smartphone, I want to note that the back cover is removable. The battery can be reached without any problems. At the bottom are the speaker holes. The case cover snaps off easily, although it sits firmly. The lid doesn't budge. Looking up, I found the camera window and the flash.
The headset jack is located on the top, between the front and back sides. The factory headset produces a fairly clear and high-quality sound. In general, most users should like it, but if you prefer other headphones, then no problem. The X6 has a built-in 3.5mm jack.
The device weighs a little more than 200 g together with the battery and flip-case! This is not much at all, given the dimensions of the smartphone (83.2x166x7.6 mm).
Technical part
Uses MTK6582 platform, quad-core 1.3GHz, Mali 400 adapter, 1GB random access memory, during games rear end the device gets hot, normal mode it's not very noticeable - although some programs make the device warmer. Operating room is used android system 4.2.2, from the add-ons - redrawn icons of the player and some other programs, their wallpapers, the menu on the locked screen and the unlock animation, there are a number of other minor changes. The Turbo X6 Z Star comes with a pretty good stock of apps, including its own keyboard, document apps, flashlight, and even Navitel preinstalled.
As much as I really wanted to know how many “parrots” X6 would show in my favorite Antutu test, I immediately launched it. After a short wait, the smartphone showed 15183 parrots.
Wireless interfaces
Everything is with him: Bluetooth 4, Wi-Fi with support for the IEEE 802.11 b / g / n protocol.
On the back there is an NFC area, for Turbo this is a new toy that allows you to work with other devices that use NFC. It was interesting when bringing the X6 to Tablet Z, I transferred the image without difficulty.

After you launched the smartphone for the first time, about 5 GB are available to you and 8 are available. Naturally, the device works fine with a 32 GB memory card.
Here things are a little worse than with the battery. The 8 megapixel camera shoots with blue, the video floats a little when the camera moves. In general, there are many modes that will help you take a good picture. Front-camera at 2 MPix transmits not a bad image. Skype is very convenient.

The display diagonal is 6 inches. It's huge IPS matrix, with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels and excellent viewing angles. Looking through various photos downloaded from the Internet, I was very surprised by the color reproduction. Colors are rendered juicy and bright. In the sun, the image is viewed clearly, the display does not glare.
Watching movies and playing games on the X6 is a pleasure. Thanks to the large display, the smartphone turns into an entertainment center.
The kit comes with 2 batteries with a capacity of 2.4 Ah. The smartphone has a good appetite, although the battery is enough to play games, watch movies and surf the Internet.
I did a little battery life test and this is what happened:
at 9 am, the smartphone was 100% charged. For the whole day I watched videos for about 2 hours, played the game for about an hour, naturally called and, from time to time, used the Internet. The backlight mode was automatic. As a result, it turned out that by 22.00 I had 15% of the battery charge left. That was enough to read a book and put the smartphone on charge at midnight.
Summary
It's time to take stock. I'll start with the pros:

3. Performance.
Of course there are fewer cons. The main one is not a fully Russified firmware. Hope the developers fix these issues. I will also add that the camera is a C grade. Bluish images do not inspire me.
