The other day, our group faced a serious problem - for skipping classes, you have to hand in abstracts written by hand. For two passes - 1 abstract for 15 sheets! Yes, I have not smeared so much paper for the whole semester, thank the eggs. Therefore, I had to go for tricks, namely: to find normal (Cyrillic) and drive them into Microsoft Word, and print our abstracts.

Here is a selection of 80 Russian handwritten fonts. In the archive you will find the following (and others) instances:

Make your own Russian handwritten font

But after downloading these fonts, it became clear that no one would believe that we write like Pushkin, Boyarsky or Mozart. Therefore, I had to make a handwritten font myself. But how to make your font look like two peas in a pod like your regular handwriting?

First, install Font Creator 6.
Next, on clean slate(they won’t fit in a ruler and in a cage) we write all the letters of the Russian (English, and others if necessary) alphabet, as well as numbers and specials. symbols.
We scan the resulting creation. Next, we cut the scanned image into separate letters and numbers (photoshop or corny paint will do), we call it accordingly.

Next step in Font Creator:
- Click the file - new (New)
- Give a name to your cursive font (for example Moy_shrift), check Unicode, Regular and Don't include outlines (for a clean outline of silhouettes), in short, everything is by default.
- A panel appears in front of you with silhouettes of punctuation marks and English letters. You need to insert Cyrillic into it. We proceed as follows:
1. Click on the top line Insert (Insert), select Symbol (Characters), YES.
2. A table of characters of the first font in your database appears in front of you. Then we scroll through the pages of the table with the Block→ button.
3. We find Russian letters.
5. We look at the index of the first letter A (I have $0410) in the Selected Character field.
6. We look at the index of the letter i (I have $044F)
7. In the Add these characters field, enter these numbers (as $0410-$044F).
8. Click Ok.
9. Your template has been updated with the appropriate Cyrillic silhouettes.

10. Also, you can separately insert the signs you are interested in (Yo, yo, etc.)
Now click on the silhouette of the letter you want to create right click mice.
Then select Import Image.
In the Import image section, you click on the Load button.
In the next window, you open the folder in which you saved the written letters and symbols.
An image of this letter will appear in the window, click on the Generate button.
Here is your letter and appeared.
Double-click on the box with your letter (the box in which the silhouette of this letter used to be).
A lined window opens in front of you. Do not be intimidated by a large number of red dotted stripes, they will all come in handy.
For convenience, expand the window to full screen.

If your letter is too large or small, then delete the already loaded one, load a new one and, without clicking generate, click on the Glyph tab. Here we select the appropriate multiplier (this is already at random) and click "use by default".

Next, let's deal with the two main lines (this is in the lined window) - left and right - they determine how the letters of your handwritten font will touch each other. If you want the letters to touch (as in the manuscript), move the right line to the letter (so that it goes a little beyond the line).
The bottom line (Win Descent) is the maximum limit for letters with a tail (c, u, u, s, r, d). If necessary, you can omit it:
The second line from the bottom (Baseline) is the line of support for each letter. If your letters stand differently on this line, then, accordingly, everything will dance in the Word.
The third line from the bottom (x-Height) is the maximum height of small letters.
Fourth (CapHeight) - maximum height capital letters, numbers, as well as the letters "c", and maybe for someone "d" and "b".
And the fifth line from the bottom is the edge line of the top line. (in my opinion =)

When compiling and writing any text, it is necessary to pay attention to its design, namely fonts. Don't forget that the main objective any text - convey your idea to the audience, however appearance also helps and promotes this.

I want to give you 15 examples of handwritten fonts that have become quite widespread, you can download them today for free. Usually they are used when creating invitations, letters and give any text a special elegance and sophistication.

Installing fonts

And a little more about installing fonts. The process is extremely simple and allows you to use these fonts in MS Word, Photoshop and others.

Most fonts are provided as a file in .otf or .ttf format, other formats can be used, but this is extremely rare. After the font is downloaded, you must also add it to the font directory operating system, which can be reached using the path "%SystemRoot%\Fonts".

So, in order to install the font you like on Windows 7 or a later version of this operating system, you must follow the instructions:

  1. Download the desired font;
  2. Open the downloaded file;
  3. In the window that appears, click on the "Install" button.

After the installation is complete, you can open your editor programs and get to work, the fonts will already be available in them. Unfortunately, in Google Docs there is no way to work with other fonts, except from Google Fonts .

To install several fonts at once, you need to download and unzip them into one folder. In the second step, we simply select a few fonts required for installation and click the "Install" button.

A cursive font for Word is necessary for many people to write a book, articles, school and other work. In this article, we will find free handwritten fonts and in practice we will install it in Word for further use.

Hello, friends! Word has different fonts that can be used when creating any material. They can only change the appearance of the text to other fonts. For example, you can make it italic and so on.

There are situations when users need a unique handwritten font for Word. This font in the text differs from other fonts in that it looks like a manuscript. It looks like it was handwritten by a person. Why is it needed at all if you can write any documents in Word with a standard font?

Sometimes there is such a need. For example, in schools or institutes, homework is assigned, which must be completed by writing them by hand. And if the teacher notices that this work was done using a computer, for this reason he can lower the grade. Or these fonts will work well for any book.

This problem can be solved by using free handwritten fonts. We will talk about this in detail.

Handwritten font for Word you can find on the Internet and download them for free. A site with Russian fonts (ofont.ru) or this one (www.fonts-online.ru) will help you with this. In the font category of this site "ofont.ru", we are looking for handwritten fonts, there are only 165 of them. Next, go to this section with handwritten fonts (Screen 1).

On the above site you can download not only handwritten fonts, but also graffiti, designer fonts, bold, curlicues, famous and others.

Then, left-click on one of them, and we will open a window for downloading this font (Screen 2).

For example, we decided to choose a handwritten font - "Denistiana". To download it to your computer, click on the font, then the "I'm not a robot" button to confirm.

Then we click "Download". The font does not take long to download, so in a few seconds it will be displayed in your downloads on your computer. There are also programs that will help you create a unique font for Word:

  1. FontCreator.

There are other resources on the Internet that provide such non-commercial fonts for users to use.

In order to write unique and handwritten text in Word, you need to install it in Word. We right-click on the font that we just downloaded and select "Copy" from the menu. Next, go to "My Computer", drive "C" folder "Windows" and paste this font into the folder "Fonts" (Screen 3).

Before we start writing this font in the document, we should decide what is needed for work:

  • a text editor is required;
  • the sheet format of this editor is A4;
  • ready-made handwritten fonts;
  • handwritten text printer.

It's easy enough to write. Open a Word document, and after choosing a font, write the text in handwriting. The whole process of writing such fonts will be shown below.

A checkered notebook sheet in Word helps a lot when writing essays, and. To install it in Word document, You need to resize the entire notebook sheet in Word. To do this, go to the "Page Layout" section. Next, select "Size", and at the bottom of the size control panel "Other page sizes".

We write the following dimensions:

  • width 16.5 cm, height 20.5 cm;
  • in the "Margins" section, set the top and bottom margins to 0.5 cm and the left margin to 2.5 cm, then the right margin to 0.8 cm. After that, click "OK".

Now, we will make a notebook sheet. Click on the "View" tab at the top of the Word control panel (Screen 4).

And check the box next to the "Grid" function. After that, you will see sheet A4 in the form of a notebook.

If you print such a document through a printer, the notebook sheet may not be preserved during printing. To prevent this, go to the "Insert", "Shapes" section (Screen 5).

And we circle the entire table with a straight line - horizontally and vertically. After that, the document can be saved as a notebook sheet.

Hello to all readers of the blog site!

I want to tell you and show you specific example how to make handwritten text on computer text editor Microsoft Word.

You will also learn how to print this text on a printer in the format of a notebook sheet in a box.

As always, I show on MS 2016 so that especially the owners of 2003-2007 versions of the editor in my description will not find big inconsistencies, so I recommend purchasing a modern product package Microsoft Office because it really is the best!

Before proceeding with practical steps, you need to download handwritten fonts for Word that work with both Cyrillic and Latin, which cannot be said about standard ones.

On the Internet, you can find a lot of offers to download a variety of fonts. But I'll spare you the search for world wide web saving you time and keeping you safe from viruses that can be easily downloaded instead of desired file especially out of ignorance.

I advise you to read one of my popular articles. By this direct link you can download handwritten fonts for Word to my Yandex disk for free and later use them to create postcards, illustrations, presentations, etc.

Installing fonts

1. Method for modern OS.

After you have downloaded the Zip archive “fonts.zip”, unpack it into a folder specially created for this purpose.

Please note that in the archive, in addition to fonts with the “ttf” extension, there are files with the “png” extension, these are pictures that show how each font looks like. To view, simply double-click on the file.

We call RMB context menu, click the Install item (if you are working with, then enter the administrator password when required).

Installation.

That's all, after restarting the computer, you can start writing, but first we will consider the algorithm of the second method, designed specifically for "retrogrades" that do not use modern operating systems.

2. Method

Select the fonts as described above, copy them;

We follow the path: C:\Windows\Fonts;

Using hot Ctrl + V paste it into the Fonts folder.

Don't forget to restart your PC.

Let's create a notebook sheet in a cage

1. Open Word, in the View tab, select the page orientation Page Layout.

2. Open the Layout tab, select the Size tool.

3. In the window that opens, select Other Paper Sizes...

4. In the Paper Options menu, the Paper Size item, we will create a notebook sheet with actual dimensions. The dimensions of the notebook sheet are 16.5 × 20.5 cm, but when printed on a printer, it turns out to be smaller than necessary, at least for me, so increase it a little to 19.5 × 22.5 cm.

5. The Margins item will help you set the margins, where the Top and Bottom should be 0.5 cm each. Left 2.5, and Right 0.8 cm. We confirm the intention of our actions with the OK button.

6. Now it remains to turn on the Grid by setting its dimensions, for this, in the Layout tab, go to the Align tool - check the Show grid box. after immediately open the Grid Options.

7. In the parameters, you just need to set the size of the cells, which is known to be 0.5 cm.

Here it seemed that all the actions were over, but as it turned out, there is a problem when printing the document, the cells disappear, only the text remains on a blank sheet of paper.

See how I managed to cope with this task.
Insert - Shapes - Lines.

We take a straight line and methodically outline our notebook sheet for each line, first horizontally then vertically or vice versa. It took me 5 minutes to do it once, and then we use it all the time.

This will be the final result (you choose the fonts at your discretion from the downloaded archive).

If someone draws lines in the “scrap”, then I took this case into account by putting together with the fonts a template for a finished notebook sheet, just insert the text and print.

You can use this method to create an abstract so as not to write it manually if teachers require it from you, of course, it is unlikely that they will be able to carry it out.

By the way, these fonts will work in other editors, such as Paint, Photoshop or others.

Important: when pasting the copied text into the template, so that the text does not move out of the margins, use the hot keys Ctrl + V.

Perhaps there is an easier way to solve this problem, but I did not find it. If anyone knows other options, write about them in the comments, I will be very grateful.
