But there is always room for experimentation, and I propose to conduct one of them in this review using the application. SmileyMe, which allows you to turn your own face into a smiley.

And you know that smiley- it's not a product digital age and it appeared long before the total computerization of the world? Moreover, it has a creator, an American Harvey Bell. He spent as much as 10 minutes of his time creating the first emoticon, received $45 for his work and, in fact, this is all the profit he earned from the symbol, which was distributed not even in millions of copies, but in billions. A cheerful yellow face was born in 1963 when representatives State Mutual Life Assurance Cos. of America wanted to raise the morale and mood of their discouraged employees due to instability and turned to Bell with a request to come up with an interesting advertising chip.

The emoticon document is quite small, because it is carried out using the pixelart technique, that is, we will be with very small pixels. So, create a new document of 50x50 pixels, that's enough. Zoom in on the sheet with a magnifying glass to make it easier to work.

Create a new layer. Draw a circle using the Elliptical Marquee Tool. To make the circle even, hold down the Shift key.

Fill the circle with dark brown. You can use, for example, the color # 411d14.

Create a new layer. On it, create a circular selection inside the brown circle, but a little smaller. Select the Gradient Tool and make a gradient from white to any color you choose. The color depends on what color the emoticon should be. Gradient select circular.

Now with the Gradient Tool create a gradient by dragging it from the top right corner to the bottom left.

Now apply the following styles to the top layer:
Inner Shadow:Blend Mode - Normal (choose a light color that matches the color of the smiley)
Angle - 135
distance - 1
size - 0

Create a new layer. Now on it with a dark brown color draw the eyes and mouth of the emoticon. Apply the "Drop Shadow" style to this layer, set the settings as in the previous step.
Your smiley is ready, now merge all layers with the command Ctrl + E and save. By changing the colors and playing with the layer settings, you can create many of these emojis. Due to high demand from the public, Apple has finally released multi-racial emoji characters in its latest update iOS. But there are times when you can't find the perfect emoji to express your point. Instead of waiting for Apple's next (probably just around the corner) emoji update, it's time to start designing your own emoji.

With imoji- free application for iOS and Android, you can turn any picture, even one you downloaded from the internet, into a custom emoji to share with your friends via MMS.

Step 1: Choose a picture.
Open the imoji app and click on the "+" sign to add a new "imoji" (emoji) or "artmoji" (artistic emoticon). Click "imoji" and the camera will open. If you want to use an impromptu photo as a smiley, take a picture with the camera, but remember that you are going to make a smiley by orienting the dotted oval.

If you want to use an existing film photo as a emoji, click "Photos" in the bottom left corner to select an image. Move and scale the image so that the object for the future emoticon is completely within the dotted oval, and then click the arrow.

Step 2: Cut out your emoji.
On the next screen, Imoji will cut out what is not inside the oval. But if you want to define more precise borders around your emoji, here you can use your finger to draw an outline around the future emoji.

You don't have to remove the excess from the photo manually, once you close the path around the object, you can click on the scissors button to cut out additional background noise.

Step 3: Label it.
By default, all imoji emoji are open and available to the rest of the imoji community. If you want to make your emoji public, go ahead and give it a descriptive name so other users can find it in searches. Otherwise, click on the padlock icon and name it whatever you want (only you will be able to see and share this emoji).
