The keys are extremely simple: "Toner Save" - puts the printer in saving mode, a little worse than the final version, but according to the manufacturer, with almost identical quality, the savings are 30%, this mode will be useful at home. Further "Cancel / Reprint", in principle, it is obvious that it is needed to cancel printing or re-output the page. And, finally, like the ML-1650 model, there is a multifunctional Demo button, which, in addition to advertising, can clean the printer and display print settings.
The Samsung ML-1210 printer will fit almost any surface - about the size of a mouse pad. The device has USB interface, which is much better than the old LPT. I decided to find out the print quality in 300x300 or 600x600 resolutions with and without economy mode enabled. I think that a resolution of 1200 dpi is unlikely to be really needed by anyone. 300x300. Just by looking at the prints it will be very difficult to tell them apart from 600dpi. It's about black text. The only place where the difference appears is in black fills and in drawings, but if you also turn on the economy mode, which is good at spoiling images, then you get a not entirely acceptable option, a draft (for photographs, the text remains of good quality).
The print speed of 50 pages at a resolution of 600x600 without "economy" was 4:30, which is about 11 pages per minute. Why not 12 as promised? We just had a text without a single identical page, and besides, it was saturated with graphics and text. But the most interesting thing is that no difference in speed from print resolution was noticed! As well as from the connection interface. The speed of 11 ppm is high today, because we can print a standard pack of 500 sheets in 40 minutes, is it really not enough for you?
