Email is still very common today. A significant percentage of Internet users have at their disposal personal mailboxes, where they receive letters from other users, some important and not very notifications, as well as intrusive adware- spam. Despite the fact that the problem with spam in mail services has existed since their inception, it has not yet been completely eliminated, although many services are making attempts.

  • There is an advertisement of any services, services, goods, etc.;
  • A message is an inducement to some action, for example, subscribe to a newsletter, make a translation, etc. Moreover, this message usually comes “out of nowhere”;
  • The letter contains calls to use some site, service, scheme, etc., which have a dubious reputation.

Removing spam from mail

It should be understood that many users themselves contribute to the “attacks” of spammers on their mailboxes by posting information about them on any resources where it is required. Also, some post their email in open access for certain purposes. This is actively used by spammers, collecting a database of addresses.

If you want to receive less spam, then follow some of these recommendations:

    • Register multiple mailboxes for different needs. For example, one box for discussing work issues, another for registering on various resources, and a third for personal matters. Many mail services allow you to link several mailboxes to one account;

    • Many mail services have the ability to filter messages by folders. Take advantage of this opportunity;

    • Those letters that you consider spam must be entered in a special folder that has already been created by the system by default. If possible, send a complaint to the sender;

  • Try not to use your email on suspicious sites.

By following these tips, you can significantly cut down on spam emails. Next, we will take a closer look at ways to combat spam for famous mail services.

Yandex Mail

Yandex mailboxes are one of the most popular solutions for the domestic user. The mail service is directly connected with other services of the company, which opens up additional opportunities for the user.

As for spam, Yandex is constantly upgrading the algorithm for combating unwanted messages. All emails that you sent to the spam folder are analyzed by the algorithm. After that, other messages with similar content will be sent to the spam folder automatically. However, initially you will have to delete unwanted items manually:

    1. Open the mail service and go to the tab "Inbox", which is located in the left or top menu. By default, all incoming emails that were not blocked by the service for spam and other violations are included here.

    1. In the top submenu, open the tab "All categories". You can open any other tab if the unwanted messages may have something to do with it.

    1. From the general list, mark those letters that you regard as spam. In order to put a mark, you just need to click on the box opposite the letter.

    1. If you have too many incoming messages, then for convenience you can sort them not only in categories, as described in the second step, but also by date.

    1. Now the selected emails need to be marked as spam. To do this, simply use the button "This is spam" in the toolbar.
    1. The selected emails will be sent to the appropriate folder. Here you can permanently delete them or restore them if you previously sent an email by mistake. All contents of the folder "spam" deleted automatically every 10 days.

After the actions taken, not only the marked letter is sent to "spam", but also the sender's mailbox. That is, messages coming from this address will automatically go to the appropriate folder.

You can also "help" the system protect you from incoming spam. To do this, you need to configure special filters that intercept and send suspicious messages to the folder "spam". This function can be very helpful if you receive the same type of messages from websites and social networks. Filters are configured as follows:

    1. In folder "Inbox" open one of the emails you don't want to receive anymore.

    1. Pay attention to the toolbar. There you need to use the button with three horizontal dots.

    1. From the context menu, select "Create a Rule".

    1. Find the line here "Apply". You need to set the value in the first field "to all emails, including spam" and in the second field "with attachments and without attachments".

    1. Now in the block "If a" you need to remove all the default options, with the exception of the parameter "From whom".

    1. AT "Performing Actions" check the box next to your preferred action with similar emails. For example, check the box "Delete".

    1. If you decide that it is better to transfer such messages to some folder (for example, "spam"), and not delete immediately, then select this folder in the drop-down list.

    1. As for the rest of the fields, it is not necessary to change anything in them. However, if you see fit, you can make adjustments to them.

    1. Now click on the button "Create a Rule" and "Apply to existing emails".

After applying the filter, messages from the selected sender will be automatically moved to the specified folder or deleted. The same applies to already received letters. If necessary, you can even recover deleted messages from "Baskets", but no later than 10 days from the date of their removal.

Mail.ru

This service is provided by a company of the same name. Previously, it was the most popular in Runet, but now fewer people use them. In terms of its capabilities, it is practically not inferior to Yandex. Here you can also quickly block spam.

However, Mail.ru's anti-spam algorithm doesn't work as well as its competitor's. Because of this, you may have to manually clean your spam mail frequently. Also in the folder "Inbox" much more spam gets here than the competitor, though not much more.

The cleaning algorithm looks like this:

    1. Open the service for receiving emails from Mail.ru in your Internet browser. Log in to your account.

    1. Now click on the tab "Letters" located in the top bar.

    1. Open the folder in the left menu "Inbox".

    1. You will be redirected to all messages that came to your mailbox and were not marked as spam by the system by default. Find messages that you think are spam and would like to block.

    1. Select them using special fields located opposite the icon of the letter itself.

    1. In the toolbar, find and use the button "Spam".

    1. Marked emails will now be moved to the folder "Spam". This section cleared automatically every 30 days.

Now all letters will be blocked from those addresses that are in the folder "spam".

In the system from Mail.ru, you can also set up filters that will automatically send to special folders or delete letters from certain senders. The filters are configured as follows:

    1. Select the emails whose senders you want to send "under the filter".

    1. In the toolbar that appears, click the button "Yet".

    1. A context menu will appear where you need to select an item "Create Filter" or use the suggested keyboard shortcut Shift+L.

    1. A window with filter settings will open. Here in the block "To" point to be noted "Delete permanently".

    1. Be sure to check the box "Apply to emails in folders".

    1. A context menu will appear where you need to select "All folders".

    1. If you often receive messages from senders whose mailbox is associated not with the mail service, but with a personal domain (for example, from some site), then in the field "If a" remove all text up to a character «@» .

    1. Save the finished filter using the corresponding button.

    1. To apply the created filter, go to the section "Filtration Rules" and click on the link there "Filter".

    1. Check section "Inbox" for the existence of letters from an unwanted sender.

gmail

This is a world-famous postal service that occupies a leading position in the international market for similar resources. The service gained its popularity due to the high level of technical equipment, a large number of available functions of advanced algorithms. Although for regular user the functionality and interface of the service is not much different from the analogues of Yandex and Mile.ru.

Let's move on to cleaning spam in Gmail:

    1. Go to the service website and log in there.

    1. In the main menu of the service, go to the tab "Inbox".

    1. Use special fields to mark unwanted messages with checkmarks.

    1. A control panel will appear where you need to click on the icon exclamation point, which has a signature "Spam!".

    1. The selected messages will be moved to the appropriate folder, from where they will be deleted automatically by the system after a certain period of time. Also, all letters from the selected senders will also automatically fall into this folder.

Gmail has such a feature as communication with others Google services which are often used by many. From this, the mailbox is littered with spam and other notifications from these services. To avoid this, you need to configure filtering in advance:

    1. Reply with checkboxes to letters from the sender from whom you do not want to receive them.

    1. In the toolbar that appears, use the button "Yet".

    1. AT context menu select item "Filter similar emails".

    1. Now in the graph "From" you need to delete all the text up to the dog character ( @ ). An example can be seen in the picture.

    1. Pay attention to the lower right corner of the window that opens. Here you need to use a text link "Create a filter according to this query".

    1. You need to check the box "Delete" if you want the system to automatically get rid of messages from this sender. If messages do not need to be deleted, but you do not want to see them during "Inbox", then check the box "Add Category". In the dedicated field, select "Spam".

    1. Check the box next to "Apply filter to matching email threads".

    1. To finish, use the button "Create Filter". It will be applied to the corresponding emails automatically.

After receiving letters from this sender, they will not be deleted immediately and irrevocably (even if such an item is checked). These emails will still be available for a while. "Basket" or folder "Spam". Then they will be removed from there automatically.

Rambler

This service is no longer as popular as its counterparts discussed above. In terms of its functionality, interface and principle of operation, it is closer to Mail.ru. True, there are still some unique points here that relate to the process of getting rid of spam, message filtering, etc.

Let's look at how to get rid of spam in Rambler:

    1. Go to the Rambler mail service. Perform authorization.

    1. On the left side, navigate to your inbox.

    1. Check the boxes next to those emails that you would like to no longer receive and that you consider spam.

    1. In the control panel, press the button "Spam".

    1. Letters will be forwarded to the folder "Spam". They will lie there for some more time until they are deleted by the system in automatic order. If necessary, you can remove them yourself.

It also provides a system for filtering incoming messages, so you can get rid of spam in automatic mode. Let's take a look at how email filtering works on this service:

    1. AT navigation menu use the button "Settings".

    1. A window with basic settings will appear. Select a section from the top menu "Filters".

    1. In chapter "Terms" click the button "New Filter".

    1. Block parameters "If a" keep the default values.

    1. In the special line you need to enter the full address of the unwanted sender. If there are several, then use the plus icon to add another field with the address.

    1. In field "Then" put a mark "Delete mail permanently". If you do not need to see letters from the selected senders in your inbox, but there is no point in deleting them immediately, then check the box "Move to folder". The adjacent field will become active, there you need to put "Spam".

    1. Use the corresponding button to save filters. Filters will be applied to all incoming new letters. However, they do not apply to old letters.

Almost all mail services work according to similar algorithms, therefore, you should not have any problems as a user. All actions come down to transferring messages to the appropriate folder and filtering settings.

I am glad to welcome you. Today we will talk about how to unsubscribe from all email newsletters. It is not difficult to unsubscribe from the mailing list, the main thing is to know where to click. Many do not know this and ask me this question. In this article, you will learn how cancel subscription. Sometimes it happens that a person subscribes and, as a result, his mailbox is full of unnecessary letters, so we will fix this problem.

So what do we need to do in order to unsubscribe from unwanted mailings? First you need to decide which letters, or rather from which authors and services, we want to keep the mailing list, and after that we start cleaning the rows and freeing our box from unnecessary trash 🙂 Of course, ideally, you need to create a separate folder in your mail and name it, for example, "My Newsletters" or "My Subscriptions" in general, as you please. But not everyone does this, and I’ll tell you right away that it’s in vain, although this is everyone’s business.

How to unsubscribe from mailings through mailing services

Let's start with mailing services. Everything is very simple here, in order to cancel subscription, You just need to go to your mailbox, select the desired, or rather not the desired letter, click on it and pay attention to the link at the very bottom of the letter. Such a link is available in almost all services. See screenshot below.

Select the desired action and unsubscribe from this newsletter or delete your address altogether from the author's database, as you can see, everything is simple, just 2-3 clicks and you will no longer receive letters from an author who is not interested in you.

How to unsubscribe from subscribe mailing lists

Let's now find out how to correctly and quickly unsubscribe from mailing lists, a very popular subscribe service. By the way, I recommend watching my video tutorial and learning how to use this service. The subscribe service is very interesting and you can write a separate article about it, but today we are not talking about that.

In order to unsubscribe from mailing lists, you just need to enter the service using your login and password, that is, be authorized, go to the "My mailing lists" tab and click on the unsubscribe button next to those mailing lists that you no longer need. See screenshot below.

Here, too, everything is very simple and easy, just click once and that's it, you will no longer receive letters to your mailbox 🙂 And in general, you can almost always unsubscribe from any mailing list. But if it is impossible to do this, there are also such harmful ones, then your mail filter will come to your aid. You can make a filter in the settings for letters from an unnecessary mailbox and they will never come. That's all figured out, let's move on.

How to unsubscribe from RSS feeds

Now let's talk about rss-mailings, many of us are subscribed to articles that appear on the blogs of the authors we read. These subscriptions are made through an rss feed. But it happens that the author is no longer interesting to us. There may be a number of reasons for this, or we simply do not want to receive announcements to our mail from this author. In order to solve this issue, just go to the letter with the announcement and find a special link at the very bottom. But the link will be English language and not everyone understands given language, so the question arises how unsubscribe from the RSS feed. In fact, the answer, as always, is simple. See the screenshot and everything will become clear.

You need to click on the unsubscribe now link - unsubscribe now and you will be taken to the unsubscribe page, as always, everything is simple and just a couple of clicks. By the way, you will also receive this article via RSS, if you are subscribed and if you are tired of me, then you can unsubscribe from me 🙂 you already know how to do this 🙂 But of course I would not want this.

Unsubscribe from mailing lists on Mail.ru

Unsubscribe from unwanted mailings on Yandex.ru

On Yandex, everything is almost the same. Go to your mail, select the letter of the person or campaign from which you want to unsubscribe and at the top in the control panel click on the "Unsubscribe" button. After that, you will be unsubscribed from the mailing list in one click! See the screenshot for how to unsubscribe from mailing lists.

In general, choose those whom you are interested in reading and only those mailings that are useful, and not just want to get money from you. But I want to note that there are many benefits in paid offers and you can quickly learn how to make money online and so on, but here you need to know what to choose and what not.

If all the above methods could not help you in your particular case, then you can create a filter for unwanted e-mail and thus you will not receive unwanted mail. How to do it technically and generally put things in order in your mail,

This is how the article turned out, I hope it will be useful to you, you can supplement it in the comments. Now, you know how to unsubscribe from all mailing lists, so you can easily clean your mailbox. I will always be glad to answer all your questions. And do not forget to click on the buttons of social networks, I will be grateful to you.

I wish you good luck and good mood!

Hello dear friends.

Since you have landed on this page, it means that you are looking for

Spam control methods.

Is that what we're talking about here?

How to protect yourself from spam.

I came up with such a simple method that at first I did not even realize that I had made a discovery.

This method securely forwards the document by reading your e-mail address from it.

To begin with, I want to tell those who do not know (most, of course, know) what spam is.

These are unwanted emails that arrive in your inbox.

How it works?

There is special programs, which scan the Internet and look for postal addresses there - E-mail(s).
Thus, they collect a large database of postal Internet addresses.

And there are special programs that can send spam emails to these addresses.
At one time, they can send letters to 50,000 addresses or more.

these are the letters that come to your mailbox without your consent.

Somewhere your E-mail "lit up".

And a letter that you absolutely do not need flies to you.

Website owners and bloggers especially suffer from such letters.

Indeed, on the site in many places you need to leave your contact information.
Yes, and on the page "contacts" you need to leave your E-mail.

Never leave your address Email nowhere but verified Internet resources.

Resources that respect themselves and their users will never transfer the database with email addresses to third parties.

In addition, on high-quality resources, you can usually hide your personal data, including your email address, from prying eyes.

When registering on any Internet resources that require entering an email address (there are most of them now), always pay attention to the conditions and checkboxes at the bottom of the registration form.

Very often there are items like "I agree to receive our company's newsletter".

In most cases, you will not be interested in receiving such letters at all, feel free to uncheck the boxes next to these items.

Never respond to spam emails, even if they say "to unsubscribe from our mailing list, simply reply to this email."

Your response will be processed by a spam robot that will mark your email address as "live", that is, active, and instead of one email per day, you will soon receive a hundred.

If spam does occasionally reach your inbox, don't delete unwanted emails, it's best to always use the "mark as spam" feature.

Good mail services, such as Google Mail (Gmail), Yandex.Mail, etc., have built-in spam protection that can be “trained”.

Each message you mark will be analyzed by the anti-spam system, and soon similar letters will no longer reach your inbox

We continue the conversation.

I myself am the owner of the thematic site and spam really tormented me, 20 letters or more per day came, and these letters do not always end up in the spam folder, and many "climb" into business and necessary folders.

They are so tired, at first I brought return addresses from these letters to the black box.

But it doesn't help for long. Spammers often change the names of their mailboxes and they climb again.

You are probably familiar with the letters: "Flying Fish", "Viogla", "Doctor Ionova's clinic", and some foreign letters offering to share the inheritance, study English, etc.

There is no need to list all of them, but there are so many such letters that there is not enough computer memory to list them all.

And so, quite by accident, I came up with an ideal system:

How to get rid of spam emails.

The system is so easy to implement and works.

Now after its implementation, I have no

This is a very pleasant feeling.

And I invite you to bring it to life.

The cost of my anti-spam system is only 30 rubles.

And you will forever forget what spam is.

We are talking about sites, blogs and letters on which you are forced to send your E-mail.

As for other systems (spam in games, in SMS, I don't know).

Once you get this system, you might think, wow, that was so easy!
Why didn't I think of this before?

Probably because I figured it out earlier.

Get "spam protection" for only 30 rubles.

And, as I have already seen programs like this:

The site script looks like this:

Where your e-mail is encrypted, they no longer work.

Spam programs pull it from there as well.

To make sure that I am not a deceiver, here is my certificate of registration of I.P.

And at the bottom I put comments in contact, where anyone can leave their feedback about my invention.

Just do not reveal the secret in the comments to those who have already received it.

It is unlikely that the comments will be positive if this is a scam.

A little about myself I am the owner of a fairly popular sports website.

With a subscription base of over 12,000 subscribers.

And during the operation of the site, I was so “tired” by these spam letters !!!

And now - kayf! There are no spam emails.

Right now, at night I am creating this page.

Since this is a mass invention, and very simple, I decided to make it available.

Total 30 rubles to sweep away the freeloaders, and you REST FROM SPAM.

And if all the people apply it, then the spammers will be out of work. Or they will only be able to send letters to their old databases.

Life would be much easier without spam, mailbox spam happens almost every day! You know right away that something is wrong when you win huge prizes for a contest you never participated in or other obscure letters that constantly “catch” your bank account number and contacts. All the excess spam on contraceptives, diet pills, magic lubricants, credit cards, home loans and everything else under the sun has been breaking into the web space and sanity, it's only fair to think constantly about fixing things to prevent unwanted influx of emails. Junk mail such as spam mass mailings known, not only clutters up your inbox, but also creates complete confusion.

Ways to get rid of spam

Protecting your privacy If you "live" on the Internet, you may have heard that passwords are like underwear, never leave them in open places. Funny but true! Your email IDs, as well as well-guarded passwords, should be kept away from comments on blogs, newsgroups, or any other public portals. By not doing this, your mail id is susceptible to spam bots, which are quick to add it to the recipients' junk list. Treat your email IDs like you treat your toothbrush. Never let anyone else use your email ID and remember to update it every six months to keep your email IDs safe from spam.

Forget icons, go for text! Every piece of junk can cost you time, money and privacy! Get smart and keep your inbox free of junk. I wonder how? Well, email icon evasion with email ID can do the trick. With bots predisposed to email icons, by changing them to text for email, identifiers such as mail gmail com, for example, can fool a spam bot and keep your id from getting it.

Block spam Spammers can be smart, but they don't have to be so after your account! Blocking the function of checking your e-mail address is probably the best way trick spammers into thinking your email id is a scam. You can also install one of the many programs that never allow junk to collect in your email inbox by bouncing mail back to the sender of the spam.

Get connected How often have you naively commented on your friend's blog for new online statuses and posts, or ideas that can actually get spammed? If you write a lot on blogs or community forums, installing wordpress plugin can protect your email ID from receiving ‘spam’. This built-in tool not only offers spam protection, but various ways defense, thus, you get additional protection. Plugins hide email IDs from bots, making your inbox relatively spam-free for free.

Alternatives Did you know that entering your email ID on almost any site makes it vulnerable to spam? The last step to fighting bots is to use disposable address email, or DEA. The service of such a company gives you the freedom to have your own DEA that redirects spam to that mail and the spam does not stake the original ID. DEAs, though, are highly exploitable and always required to be purchased, but this leads to the end of the nightmarish avalanche of spam!
