Yes, yes, the same socialism, which is often called the prison of peoples, a dead end branch of historical development, and further down the list. It was under socialism that programs were created, or rather, prototypes of programs that are known today to every user.

How it all began

Alas, viruses are not appendicitis, a one-time removal of the problem is not solved: soon programmers again had to develop fresh anti-virus solutions for new threats.

In May 1988, one of the major events in the history of the company happened - the first version of NOD for MS-DOS was released. At first, the program was not very popular. Gradually, improvements and improvements were made to the original version, and they started talking about NOD. And then the first ones started. There was a need for an official status, an office and more of a trademark.
In 1992, Miroslav, Peter and a man with an alarming name Rudolf Rude registered ESET company. The first office of the future giant of the anti-virus market was located in modest Bratislava (Slovakia).
