Here you can see the solution to the problem you are interested in that arose with the game DmC: Devil May Cry.

White screen appears in DmC: Devil May Cry

A white screen often appears in DmC: Devil May Cry during the mission with the church, where you need to destroy the cameras.

Try restarting the level. If it does not help, turn off the game, then in the properties of the game shortcut, in the Compatibility tab, check the boxes:

Run the program as an administrator

Disable visual design

Disable desktop composition

Disable image scaling when high resolution screen

If the problem continues, download and install the latest patch for the game.

DmC: Devil May Cry freezes every 15-30 seconds

Some players have experienced a problem where the game itself freezes for a few moments during the game. During such a freeze, the sound goes on, and the picture freezes for a while.

Defragment hard drive, in particular the local disk on which the game is installed.

Free more random access memory on the computer by closing resource-intensive programs ( Browser, Skype etc)

After performing the above steps, the problem should disappear.

Sound lags or disappears in DmC: Devil May Cry

Disable hardware audio acceleration. At start select Run. In the window that appears, enter dxdiag, in the sound tab, remove hardware acceleration. This method only works on Windows XP.

Also try installing the game on a different local drive.

Where are game saves stored on Windows 8

To find DmC: Devil May Cry saves on Windows 8, try using the search. Go to My computer, in the search box enter Steam , in the search results folder you will find game saves. For example Steam/RLD!/220440/Storage.

After I click on the shortcut DmC: Devil May Cry does not start

Update your Windows, install DirectX, video card drivers. Install the patch for the game.

In mission 12, DmC: Devil May Cry's "Last Dance" mission, enemy waves stop coming

This is a fairly common problem with pirated versions of the game. It helps some to replay the entire level, but it is recommended to install a patch for the game. it fixes this bug.

Game stopped working after changing resolution

A very interesting problem, when after changing the screen resolution in the game settings, it stops running and gives an error with the text " Failed to create the D3D9 Device! This can happen if the desktop is locked. Exiting..."D3D9 is DirectX component, which, for reasons known only to Satan, ceases to display a graphic image on the screen at a new resolution. In this connection, it forcibly closes the launch of the game, which is reported in the error text. In such a case, it is recommended to either play at the old resolution by reinstalling the game, or try to update DirectX, or install a patch. Removing the file helped some d3d9.dll in the game folder.

DmC: Devil May Cry slows down in the last mission

Some players have experienced unrealistic lags in the very last boss fight mission. The problem was even for those who have computer hardware at their best. This is due to poor optimization of the consumption of game resources in the last mission. You have the rest of the game can play quickly and flawlessly, but the latter can slow down. For a more comfortable game, it is recommended to reset the graphics settings to the minimum and try to somehow provide more system resources for the game, by closing "heavy" background programs or in another way. Complete the game the way you want it!

After updating DmC: Devil May Cry via Steam or a patch, the game began to slow down

You are probably using a gamepad. Uncheck the game settings vibration, this should help.

Fans of Devil May Cry HD Collection are facing an annoying situation when after installation, the game won't launch. Or errors appear during the installation process. Let's figure out what the reason is and fix the problem. The methods outlined in the article are not only suitable for the Devil May Cry HD Collection. If not enough, the problem remains unresolved, read other materials on the site.

Devil May Cry HD Collection not installing

If Devil May Cry HD Collection does not install, see if there is enough free space on the hard drive. The distribution requires free space, so a few gigabytes of extra space won't hurt. Many modern games require a significant volume.

Installation of Devil May Cry HD Collection blocked by antivirus

Often, antivirus programs, in the fight against viruses, protecting our computer from external threats, for security purposes, block numerous processes performed by the operating system. Sometimes such security is so strong that the antivirus blocks access not only to viruses, but also suspends some normal processes, perhaps by mistake, considering them potentially vulnerable. Disable your antivirus during installation.

Cleaning the computer and restarting

Sometimes, a simple reboot of the system can immediately solve many problems that arise both during the installation of games and their subsequent work. The same applies to programs and applications. There are many reasons: the computer is clogged with garbage, the system cache is full, the maximum allowable number of simultaneously running processes, some may be frozen and not running, but they put a load on the system. Cleaning the computer and restarting will fix the situation.

No Internet access

Some game clients during the installation process require an Internet connection, providing access to the installation server or update server. Make sure the quality of the connection, and if there is no Internet, be prepared for problems when installing Devil May Cry HD Collection. Well, if the system gives an error message. And if there is none, you can think for a long time and wonder why the toy is not installed.

Devil May Cry HD Collection won't launch

Before looking for the reasons why Devil May Cry HD Collection won't start, make sure that the installation itself was successful. Otherwise, if there were failures during the installation process, but at the same time the game was installed, it is impossible to guarantee the subsequent launch and performance. If it starts - lucky. What will happen next is unknown. Remember the installation process.

Reinstalling the game

Many gamers have repeatedly encountered a situation where they had to reinstall games. Apparently, this is the case where re-installing Devil May Cry HD Collection will fix the issue. It is not known what this is connected with, maybe the antivirus or firewall "ate" some files or something else at the time of installation, but after installing the game again, it starts up and works. Uninstall Devil May Cry HD Collection and reinstall, paying attention to every detail during this process. Perhaps at some point the program will ask additional files etc.

There are times when installation on top is already installed game solves the situation. The installer may offer to update the files. Thus, there is no need for removal. Well, something like this.

Finding information by error text

Another option. Problems when starting the Devil May Cry HD Collection are usually accompanied by a corresponding system message. Specify the text of the error in the search, as a result of which you will receive the most detailed answer, and, moreover, regarding this particular problem. Actually, the decision will not keep you waiting. This way you can pinpoint the cause and fix the problem.

By the way, for some reason I always forget about it. Until I turn over the whole computer. But this the method works for all 92%. All you have to do is type in the text and find it. useful article. So you will definitely solve the problem, you do not need to send the PC to the workshop ahead of time and incur additional costs. There are many on the Internet useful material- study.

Running Devil May Cry HD Collection as administrator

Run the game as an administrator. In our case, to run Devil May Cry HD Collection as an administrator, you need to right-click on the game's shortcut and select Run as administrator. Subsequently, if this method solves the problem, make it the default. Open the Shortcut Properties, in the Compatibility tab, and check the box Run this program as an administrator.

Devil May Cry HD Collection is not compatible with the system

Another obstacle to launch Devil May Cry HD Collection may be incompatibility with your operating system. In this case, all in the same place, in the Properties of the shortcut, add the checkbox Run the program in compatibility mode, select the desired OS from the drop-down list.

.NET Framework not installed

Quite a serious problem with launching the Devil May Cry HD Collection is the lack of an installed library on the computer. NET Framework, which provides the launch and maintains the performance of programs and applications, including games. This is a prerequisite and Microsoft .NET Framework must be installed on your PC.

There are different versions of the .NET Framework. The presence on the computer of any one of them cannot sufficiently guarantee correct work programs. If, for example, the library is already installed on the computer, but the game requires it, download and install it. Restart your PC. previous version will not be deleted, will not be overwritten. They will just work together.

Use programs that will prepare your computer for the correct operation of the game, help to avoid many problems and errors.

Operating system Software
Windows XP/7/8/10
Windows XP/7/8/10
Windows XP/7/8/10

Availability of DirectX

Perhaps the most important condition, a requirement that must be met for games, including Devil May Cry HD Collection, is that the computer has . No toy will work without it. Almost all distributions that require DirectX installed already have this set in their composition.

As a rule, DirectX is installed automatically during installation. If it is not in the distribution, download and install. It is not necessary to do this before installation, it is possible after, but the presence on the computer is simply necessary. Download links are located above.

What to do if Devil May Cry HD Collection is not working?

Do not despair if you have already gone through all the ways and nothing helps, the game does not work. Perhaps these tips will seem too vague, incomprehensible, errors are still present. Check again, did you do everything right? If necessary, download another Devil May Cry HD Collection distribution, if purchased in a store, contact the seller (manufacturer) for help. Maybe the disk is corrupted, something is missing. It's normal, quite natural, it happens. Use a different distribution and install the game again.

As a last resort, there are situations when the operating system is still incompatible with the Devil May Cry HD Collection. Update the system Windows tools(via Update Center). The game will work. If the manufacturer indicated compatibility, then he is responsible for this. Update your operating system.

Reinstalling the OS is a last resort. Not sure about statements like "the operating system is pirated... assembly... won't work..." or "a hacked, pirated toy - throw it away ...". The moment that is worth your attention is to remember if there were similar problems with other games, in particular those similar to the Devil May Cry HD Collection. And if problems were observed, this suggests that it may be time to update something in the system or reinstall. Thank you for attention!

Other materials

Unfortunately, there are flaws in games: brakes, low FPS, crashes, freezes, bugs and other minor and not very errors. Often problems begin before the game even starts, when it won't install, won't load, or won't even download. Yes, and the computer itself is sometimes weird, and then in DmC: Devil May Cry, instead of a picture, a black screen, control does not work, no sound is heard or anything else.

What to do first

  1. Download and run the world famous CCleaner(download via direct link) is a program that will clean your computer from unnecessary garbage, as a result of which the system will work faster after the first reboot;
  2. Update all drivers in the system using the program Driver Updater (download via direct link) - it will scan your computer and update all drivers to current version in 5 minutes;
  3. Install Advanced System Optimizer(download from a direct link) and turn on the game mode in it, which will end useless background processes during game launch and increase performance in the game.

The second thing to do if you encounter any problems with DmC: Devil May Cry is to check the system requirements. In a good way, you need to do this even before the purchase, so as not to regret the money spent.

Minimum system requirements DMC: Devil May Cry:

Windows XP, Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 Gb RAM, 8 Gb HDD, nVidia GeForce 8800 GTS Video memory: 512 Mb

Every gamer should at least have a little understanding of the components, know why a video card, processor and other things are needed in system block.

Files, drivers and libraries

Almost every device in a computer requires a set of special software. These are drivers, libraries and other files that ensure the correct operation of the computer.

It's worth starting with the drivers for the video card. Modern graphic cards manufactured by only two large companies - Nvidia and AMD. Having found out which product spins the coolers in the system unit, we go to the official website and download the package of fresh drivers:

A prerequisite for the successful functioning of DmC is the availability of the latest drivers for all devices in the system. Download the utility Driver Updater to download quickly and easily latest versions drivers and install them with one click:

If DmC: Devil May Cry does not start, we recommend that you try disabling your antivirus or put the game in the antivirus exceptions, and also check the system requirements again and if something from your build does not match, then, if possible, improve your PC by purchasing more powerful components.

DmC: Devil May Cry has black screen, white screen, color screen. Solution

Problems with screens of different colors can be roughly divided into 2 categories.

Firstly, they are often associated with the use of two video cards at once. For example, if your motherboard has a built-in video card, but you play on a discrete one, then DmC: Devil May Cry can be launched for the first time on a built-in one, while you will not see the game itself, because the monitor is connected to a discrete video card.

Secondly, color screens happen when there are problems with displaying the image on the screen. This can happen for various reasons. For example, DmC: Devil May Cry cannot work through an outdated driver or does not support a video card. Also, a black / white screen may be displayed when working at resolutions that are not supported by the game.

DmC: Devil May Cry crashes. At a certain or random moment. Solution

You play for yourself, play and here - bam! - everything goes out, and now you have a desktop without any hint of the game. Why is this happening? To solve the problem, it is worth trying to figure out what the nature of the problem is.

If the flight takes place in random moment time without any regularity, then with a probability of 99% we can say that this is a mistake of the game itself. In such a case, it is very difficult to fix something, and it is best to just put DmC: Devil May Cry aside and wait for the patch.

However, if you know exactly at what moments the crash occurs, then you can continue the game, avoiding situations that provoke a crash.

However, if you know exactly at what moments the crash occurs, then you can continue the game, avoiding situations that provoke a crash. In addition, you can download the DmC save and bypass the departure point.

DmC: Devil May Cry freezes. The picture freezes. Solution

The situation is about the same as with crashes: many freezes are directly related to the game itself, or rather, to the developer's mistake when creating it. However, often a frozen picture can become Starting point to investigate the deplorable state of the video card or processor.

So if the picture in DmC: Devil May Cry freezes, then use the programs to display statistics on the loading of components. Perhaps your video card has long exhausted its working life or the processor is heating up to dangerous temperatures?

The easiest way to check the load and temperatures for the video card and processors is in the MSI Afterburner program. If desired, you can even display these and many other parameters on top of the DmC image.

What temperatures are dangerous? Processors and video cards have different operating temperatures. For video cards, they are usually 60-80 degrees Celsius. The processors are slightly lower - 40-70 degrees. If the processor temperature is higher, then you should check the condition of the thermal paste. It may have dried out and needs to be replaced.

If the video card is heating up, then you should use the driver or official utility from the manufacturer. You need to increase the number of revolutions of the coolers and see if the operating temperature drops.

DmC: Devil May Cry slows down. Low FPS. Frame rate drops. Solution

With brakes and low frame rates in DmC, the first step is to lower the graphics settings. Of course, there are a lot of them, so before reducing everything in a row, you should find out exactly how certain settings affect performance.

Screen resolution. In short, this is the number of points that make up the picture of the game. The higher the resolution, the higher the load on the video card. However, the increase in load is negligible, so reducing the screen resolution should only be the last resort, when everything else does not help.

Texture quality. Typically, this setting determines the resolution of texture files. Decrease the quality of textures if the video card has a small amount of video memory (less than 4 GB) or if it is used very old hard a disk with a spindle speed of less than 7200.

Model quality(sometimes just details). This setting determines which set of 3D models will be used in the game. The higher the quality, the more polygons. Accordingly, high-poly models require more computing power video cards (not to be confused with the amount of video memory!), which means that this parameter should be reduced on video cards with a low core or memory frequency.

Shadows. They are implemented in different ways. In some games, shadows are created dynamically, that is, they are calculated in real time every second of the game. Such dynamic shadows load both the processor and the video card. In order to optimize, developers often abandon the full-fledged rendering and add shadow pre-rendering to the game. They are static, because in fact they are just textures that are superimposed on top of the main textures, which means they load memory, and not the core of the video card.

Often developers add additional settings related to shadows:

  • Shadow Resolution - determines how detailed the shadow cast by the object will be. If the game has dynamic shadows, then it loads the core of the video card, and if a pre-created render is used, then it “eats” the video memory.
  • Soft shadows - smoothing out bumps on the shadows themselves, usually this option is given along with dynamic shadows. Regardless of the type of shadows, it loads the video card in real time.

Smoothing. Allows you to get rid of ugly corners at the edges of objects by using a special algorithm, the essence of which is usually to generate several images at once and compare them, calculating the most “smooth” image. There are many different anti-aliasing algorithms that differ in terms of their impact on the performance of DmC: Devil May Cry.

For example, MSAA works head-on, creating 2, 4, or 8 renders at once, so the frame rate is reduced by 2, 4, or 8 times, respectively. Algorithms such as FXAA and TAA operate a little differently, achieving a smooth image by calculating only the edges and using some other tricks. Because of this, they do not reduce performance as much.

Lighting. As in the case of anti-aliasing, there are different algorithms for lighting effects: SSAO, HBAO, HDAO. All of them use the resources of the video card, but they do it differently depending on the video card itself. The fact is that the HBAO algorithm was promoted mainly on video cards from Nvidia (GeForce line), so it works best on the “green” ones. HDAO, on the other hand, is optimized for AMD graphics cards. SSAO is the simplest type of lighting, it consumes the least resources, so in case of slowdowns in DmC: Devil May Cry, it is worth switching to it.

What should be lowered first? Shadows, anti-aliasing, and lighting effects are usually the most stressful, so it's best to start with them.

Often gamers themselves have to deal with DmC optimization. For almost all major releases, there are various related and forums where users share their ways to improve productivity.

One of them is a special program called Advanced System Optimizer. It is made specifically for those who do not want to manually clean up the computer from various temporary files, delete unnecessary registry entries and edit the startup list. Advanced System Optimizer will do this for you, as well as analyze your computer to find out how you can improve performance in applications and games.

DmC: Devil May Cry lags. Big game delay. Solution

Many people confuse "lag" with "lag", but these problems have completely different causes. DmC slows down when the frame rate at which the picture is displayed on the monitor decreases, and lags when the delay when accessing the server or any other host is too high.

That is why "lags" can only be in network games. The reasons are different: bad network code, physical distance from servers, network congestion, incorrectly configured router, low Internet connection speed.

However, the latter is the least common. In online games, communication between the client and the server occurs by exchanging relatively short messages, so even 10 MB per second should be enough for the eyes.

There is no sound in DmC: Devil May Cry. I can not hear anything. Solution

DmC works, but for some reason does not sound - this is another problem that gamers face. Of course, you can play like that, but it's still better to figure out what's the matter.

First you need to determine the scope of the problem. Where exactly is there no sound - only in the game or in general on the computer? If only in the game, then perhaps this is due to the fact that the sound card is very old and does not support DirectX.

If there is no sound at all, then the matter is definitely in the computer settings. The drivers might not be installed correctly sound card, or maybe there is no sound due to some specific error of our favorite Windows OS.

Controls don't work in DmC: Devil May Cry. DmC does not see the mouse, keyboard or gamepad. Solution

How to play if it is impossible to control the process? The problems of supporting specific devices are out of place here, because we are talking about familiar devices - keyboard, mouse and controller.

Thus, errors in the game itself are practically excluded, almost always the problem is on the user's side. You can solve it in different ways, but, one way or another, you will have to turn to the driver. Usually, when you connect a new device, the operating system immediately tries to use one of the standard drivers, but some models of keyboards, mice, and gamepads are not compatible with them.

Thus, you need to find out the exact model of the device and try to find exactly its driver. Often, devices from well-known gaming brands come with their own software kits, since the standard windows driver corny cannot ensure the correct operation of all the functions of a particular device.

If you don’t want to look for drivers for all devices separately, you can use the program Driver Updater. It is intended for automatic search drivers, so you will only need to wait for the scan results and download the necessary drivers in the program interface.

Often the brakes in DmC: Devil May Cry can be caused by viruses. In this case, there is no difference how powerful the video card is in the system unit. You can check your computer and clean it of viruses and other unwanted software using special programs. For example NOD32 . The antivirus has proven itself from the best side and has received the approval of millions of users around the world.

ZoneAlarm is suitable for both personal use, and for small businesses, is able to protect a computer running Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP from any attacks: phishing, viruses, malware, spyware and other cyber threats. New users are given a 30-day free trial.

Nod32 is an antivirus from ESET, which has received many awards for its contribution to the development of security. On the developer's website, versions of anti-virus programs are available both for PC and for mobile devices, a 30-day trial is provided. There are special conditions for business.

DmC: Devil May Cry downloaded from torrent does not work. Solution

If the distribution kit of the game was downloaded via torrent, then in principle there can be no guarantees of work. Torrents and repacks are almost never updated through official apps and do not work over the network, because in the course of hacking, hackers cut out everything from games network functions, which are often used for license verification.

Using such versions of games is not only inconvenient, but even dangerous, because very often many files have been changed in them. For example, to bypass protection, pirates modify an EXE file. However, no one knows what else they do with it. Maybe they're building a self-fulfilling software. For example, which, when the game is first launched, will be integrated into the system and will use its resources to ensure the well-being of hackers. Or, giving access to the computer to third parties. There are no guarantees and there cannot be.

In addition, the use of pirated versions is, according to our publication, theft. The developers have spent a lot of time creating the game, investing their own money in the hope that their offspring will pay off. And every work must be paid.

Therefore, if you encounter any problems with games downloaded from torrents or hacked using certain means, you should immediately remove the pirate, clean your computer with an antivirus and a licensed copy of the game. This will not only save you from dubious software, but also allow you to download updates for the game and receive official support from its creators.

DmC gives an error about missing DLL file. Solution

As a rule, problems associated with the absence of DLLs occur when DmC: Devil May Cry is launched, however, sometimes the game can access certain DLLs in the process and, without finding them, crash in the most impudent manner.

To fix this error, you need to find required library DLL and install it on the system. The easiest way to do this is with a program. DLL fixer, which scans the system and helps you quickly find missing libraries.

If your problem turned out to be more specific, or if the method described in this article did not help, then you can ask other users in our "" section. They will promptly help you!

We thank you for your attention!

The reasons why DMC: Devil May Cry won't start, lots of. Let's try to solve this issue a little. First, check if your computer meets the system requirements of the game.

Minimum system requirements: DMC: Devil May Cry

OS (operating system): Windows XP/Vista/7/8
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.4 Ghz / AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+
RAM: 2 GB
HDD: 8 Gb free
Video Memory: 512 Mb
Video card: nVidia GeForce 8800 GTS / ATI Radeon HD 3850
DirectX: 9.0c

In the event that your computer meets these requirements, and the game does not start, then the problem is elsewhere.

Pay close attention to the DirectX clause in the requirements, system bitness, and the number of required cores for the game. For DirectX 11, your video card must support it at the hardware level, and your OS must be Windows 7 or newer.

Below we list the points, tips that will allow you to run DMC: Devil May Cry. It is not necessary to complete all the points, it is enough to test the game after completing each.

1. Now we will give you some tips for a successful launch:

Always run the game as an administrator.

Make sure that the path to the game folder does not contain Russian characters.

Make sure that your name in Windows is made up of Latin letters.

Before starting the game, turn off all unnecessary programs

If you made settings in the video card driver - reset to default values

Increase the swap file on the DMC: Devil May Cry drive and on the Windows drive.

Turn off DEP for the game

Look in your game/install folder, if there is a directory called Install, go there and install all the software there.

2. Install/Reinstall additional game software without which DMC: Devil May Cry will not work:
Video card drivers: |
DirectX

NET Framework

After installing the software - be sure to restart your computer!

3. Very rarely, but some players are helped by running and playing in compatibility mode.

4. For a pirated copy of DMC: Devil May Cry:

Look at the comments in the distribution where you downloaded the game from.

Put another crack.

Make sure that the antivirus program, including the one built into Windows Defender did not delete any of the files from the DMC: Devil May Cry folder. During the installation and launch of the game, it is better to do this without antivirus programs and keep a close eye on notifications, as cracks are often considered malware.

For a licensed copy of DMC: Devil May Cry:

Run a file integrity check on Steam or Origin where you have the game. Also check the game for updates and if there are any - install.

If nothing helps - wait for the patch.

Sometimes DMC.dll errors and others system errors DLL could be related to problems in the Windows registry. Several programs may use the DMC.dll file, but when these programs are removed or changed, "orphaned" (erroneous) entries are sometimes left registry DLL.

Basically, this means that while the actual path to the file may have been changed, its incorrect former location is still recorded in the Windows registry. When Windows tries looking up these incorrect file references (file locations on your PC), DMC.dll errors can occur. In addition, malware infection may have corrupted the registry entries associated with DVD Copy 9 Plus. Thus, these corrupted DLL registry entries need to be repaired in order to fix the root of the problem.

Manually editing the Windows registry to remove invalid DMC.dll keys is not recommended unless you are PC service professional. Mistakes made while editing the registry can render your PC unusable and cause irreparable damage to your operating system. In fact, even a single comma in the wrong place can prevent your computer from booting up!

Because of this risk, we highly recommend using a trusted registry cleaner such as WinThruster (Developed by Microsoft Silver Certified Partner) to scan and repair any DMC.dll-related registry problems. Using a registry cleaner automates the process of finding invalid registry entries, missing file references (like the one causing your DMC.dll-related error), and broken links within the registry. Before each scan is performed, it automatically creates backup copy, making it possible to undo any changes with a single click, which provides protection against possible damage PC. The best part is that fixing registry errors can also greatly increase system speed and performance.

Warning: If you are not experienced user PC, we do NOT recommend editing the Windows registry manually. Incorrect use of the Registry Editor can lead to serious problems and require reinstalling Windows. We do not guarantee that problems resulting from misuse of Registry Editor can be corrected. You use the Registry Editor at your own risk.

Before manually restoring Windows registry, you need to create a backup by exporting a part of the registry related to DMC.dll (eg. DVD Copy 9 Plus):

  1. Click on the button To begin.
  2. Enter " command" in search bar... DO NOT PRESS YET ENTER!
  3. Holding keys CTRL-Shift on the keyboard, press ENTER.
  4. An access dialog will be displayed.
  5. Click Yes.
  6. The black box opens with a blinking cursor.
  7. Enter " regedit" and press ENTER.
  8. In the Registry Editor, select the DMC.dll-related key (eg. DVD Copy 9 Plus) you want to back up.
  9. On the menu File select Export.
  10. Listed Save to select the folder where you want to save the backup copy of the DVD Copy 9 Plus key.
  11. In field File name enter a name for the backup file, such as "DVD Copy 9 Plus Backup".
  12. Make sure the field Export range value selected Selected branch.
  13. Click Save.
  14. The file will be saved with .reg extension.
  15. You now have a backup of your DMC.dll-related registry entry.

The next steps for manually editing the registry will not be covered in this article, as they are likely to damage your system. If you would like more information on editing the registry manually, please see the links below.
