Information about this smartphone appeared long before its release on the market, which is not surprising because HTC has never released dual-sim devices before. The manufacturer tried to prepare brand fans for a new direction.
On paper, the characteristics of the HTC Desire V looked quite decent, but the picture was spoiled by the exorbitantly high cost. Whereas DualSIM, similar in characteristics, cost about $250, for HTC they asked for $150 more. For the brand or it's not just the manufacturer, and does Desire V have a number of other advantages?

Design and ergonomics

The device is easily recognizable by typical HTC design elements. Rounded corners, smooth lines and protruding Bottom part, as in , HTC Legend and . It is strange that in order to draw attention to the device, the developers abandoned the use of red elements, as, for example, in . There is no polycarbonate and metal in it, everything is as simple as possible, but tasteful. Taking it in hand, it is unlikely that anyone will have a feeling of cheapness.

The main part of the front panel is covered with tempered glass. Under it, in the upper part of the case, there is a proximity and light sensor, as well as an event indicator. There is also a small slot for a speaker. The central part is occupied by a TFT display.

Below are three touch keys - "Back", "Home" and "Dispatcher running applications". The keys are easy to operate blindly thanks to the slight protrusion on the bottom of the case. In fact, this protrusion is on the same level with the main part of the body, but due to the recess between the touch keys and the bottom end, a misleading impression of a tubercle is created.

As with most others HTC smartphones, controls and interface connectors are located in the usual places.
On the left side you can see the MicroUSB connector, on the right side there is a dual volume rocker.

The speaking microphone is located on the bottom end, and the 3.5 mm jack and the on / off button are on the top end.

With the exception of the power button, the user should not have any complaints about managing the device. As for the button, it obviously would not hurt to have slightly sharper corners or protrude above the body by a fraction of millimeters more. It is not always possible to grope for it blindly and get tactile feedback when you click on it.

The back side, also known as a removable panel, is made of soft-touch plastic. The placement of the elements indicates that the smartphone should be associated with a digital camera - the area around the lens, as well as the HTC inscription, are located vertically. In addition to the elements mentioned, there is a logo on the back side. Beat Audio, which indicates the presence of appropriate equalizer settings in music player. To the left of the logo is a scattering of holes for a multimedia speaker.

Whether you noticed or not, not a word was said about where the recess for removing the back panel is located, and that's because there is simply none in HTC Desire V. Therefore, each of the users will determine their most convenient way to open. Based personal experience, let's say that for us this turned out to be a method in which we separate the main unit and the removable cover in the region of the right corner of the upper end. Removing the cover, the user gets access to two slots for SIM and memory cards. The first two are located symmetrically to each other, and the memory card slot is at an angle of 90º to any of the SIM cards.

As in the HTC Sensation, the removable panel is something in the form of a cradle in which the smartphone is installed.
In addition to the slots, the user has access to a battery with a fairly large capacity for dual-symbol smartphones - 1650 mAh or 6.27 Wh.

For more than two weeks of active use of the device, its case left behind ambivalent impressions. On the one hand - high-quality materials, on the other - squeaks in almost all its parts. Perhaps the fact that our HTC Desire V was in the hands of a large number of people who hardly treated it as their own affects. Therefore, we cannot be 100% sure that this problem present in commercial copies.

Interface and software

Compared to last year, in 2012, the activity of HTC has clearly decreased, first of all, this refers to the number of announced flagships. This allowed the developer to focus on adapting the software, in particular, releasing all new models on fresh Android 4.0. Perhaps this parameter is the main advantage of HTC Desire V over similar products. A few weeks ago we reviewed Acer smartphone Liquid Galland Duo, which also runs Android 4.0, and even surpasses the hero of the review in terms of technical parameters. Nevertheless, there are a considerable number of HTC-loyal buyers who are ready to give their hard-earned money just for the presence of HTC Sense. This model has HTC Sense version 4.0, so most of the charms of those present, for example, HTC One X or HTC One S, there are also here.

I would not like to repeat once again about the possibilities of HTC Sense 4.0, so we invite readers to familiarize themselves with the reviews of the HTC One line using text and video reviews as an example.

Video reviews of HTC smartphones: ,

But we will dwell on the principle of working with two SIM-cards separately.
To configure the work of SIM-cards, a separate menu is provided, in which there are not so many options, for example, in devices on MTK processors, the menu is more convenient and allows you to configure everything in one place.

In the case of HTC Desire V, the user is given the opportunity to choose the priority and change the name of the card, which can hardly be called a demanded functionality. But you cannot specify which SIM will be used by default for calls and messages, only for accessing the network, while when sending messages or dialing, two icons are displayed - SIM 1, SIM 2.
When viewing the list of calls, a number is displayed next to the name or phone number, indicating which SIM was used.
A similar scheme is used when working with messages.

As for the simultaneous operation of two SIMs, this is only possible in standby mode. But in the smartphone there are no restrictions for the second SIM card if the first one is used to access the Internet. You can call both the active card and the one that is in standby mode. Well, for those who want to be always in touch, we recommend setting up forwarding from one operator to another.

Platform

Readers' interest in the HTC One V exceeded the interest in the flagship HTC One X several times, although the characteristics of the most affordable model in the One line are far from the most advanced. With such characteristics, manufacturers produced smartphones in the second half of 2011. Wanting to make extra profit by using cheaper components, HTC Desire V is equipped with a slightly improved MSM7227 processor from Qualcomm. Improvements have been made to the processor architecture, now it is ARMv7, and its frequency, 1 GHz against 600 MHz.
There is no performance to speak of. The speed of the interface leaves much to be desired, especially when you try to do something quickly, switch between running applications or launch a new one, etc. Therefore, you need to approach the purchase of HTC Desire V consciously, understanding that this is not the device on which it will be comfortable to play games or watch videos.

Despite the rather capacious battery, it was not possible to beat the records set by LG's two-symbol cards. Nevertheless, the results are quite good and with a typical operating scheme - several tens of minutes of calls, sending SMS and receiving mail via Wi-Fi, you can count on two days of work.

Display

The smartphone has a TFT-matrix with a resolution 800x480 dots and diagonal 4”. Image quality is average, the impression is spoiled by horizontal viewing angles, at which colors become faded. This is not conducive to using the device as a portable video player. As for the other parameters - brightness, contrast, behavior "in the sun", image clarity - things are going well with them, and the screen size does not go beyond the reasonable, maintaining a balance between convenience and comfort.

Camera

Many readers know that in 2012, HTC decided to change their minds and began to equip their smartphones with decent cameras. Against their background, Desire V looks like a guest from the past. Quality 5 MP photos is average or below average, but the manufacturer managed to realize a high one, as for graphics core Adreno 200, recorded video resolution - 800x480 dots at 20 frames / s, while analogues are only capable of VGA. The video quality is also far from ideal, and is only suitable for shooting in good light.

When releasing HTC Desire V, the company expected that among the potential buyers of dual-sim smartphones there would be a large number of people who were waiting for a similar product from HTC. This is not true. A large number of billboards should convey to people the information that now you can buy DualSIM from your favorite company. In fact, the medal has two sides. On the one hand, yes, the company has expanded the circle of customers, but on the other hand, this means that HTC is looking for any ways to earn money, and, accordingly, falls in the eyes of those who value this brand's smartphones for some inaccessibility. This is where Cost should come into play. At the time of the appearance on sale, the cost of a smartphone was $150 higher than similar products, and after all, most of the users of this class of devices buy them not from a good life, but because of the need to save money. In the case of Desire V, there can be no question of any savings, because few people would think of paying $400 for a smartphone in order to save on telephone conversations or Internet access. As a result, a paradoxical situation has arisen when a device that was conceived as a means of saving costs much more than classmates. And now, a few weeks after the start of sales, HTC Desire V can be found for a much more "mundane" cost of 2800-3000 hryvnia. This means that until the appearance of the main competitor in the face of Acer Liquid Gallant Duo, the smartphone will not have direct competitors among first-tier manufacturers. In addition, in a month several more manufacturers will present their new dual-sim devices running on Android 4.0, including Samsung, LG, Fly. So the battle promises to be interesting. In the meantime, HTC Desire V remains the only candidate for purchase for those who are not ready to switch to Chinese products and save not on costs, but on free space.

“It can't be!” I wanted to scream when I saw the announcement of HTC Desire V. But it's true, the Taiwanese manufacturer actually released an Android smartphone with support for 2 SIM cards. In addition, the device has a good software and hardware stuffing, and is also one of the latest in the Beats Audio line.

HTC Desire V:: Overview:: Design and features

Traditionally, let's start with the exterior. The dimensions of the Desire V are average by the standards of modern devices and even, probably, compact for the existing functionality. In numbers, this is 118.5 x 62.3 x 9.32 mm and 114 grams. Due to this, small thickness and rounded corners The smartphone lies well in the palm of your hand and is comfortable to use. Desire V has some individuality, and it is not lost among the diversity of even its fellows. At the same time, the usual lines have not disappeared anywhere: this is a bizarre bend under the control keys, the familiar edging of the front panel and the type of mechanical keys, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Case materials - a symbiosis of metal and plastic. The rear panel is a soft-touch boat, if it is not a body-forming one, then it has an impressive "weight" among the elements. This is followed by the edging of the front and side surfaces, which constitutes a kind of stiffening rib. Crowns the construction of "glass" (Gorilla Glass) to protect the display and "surrounding areas". As you can see, the colors of the case are calm and even strict, the assembly is solid, but at the same time the device is not perceived as too serious.

The design elements are standard and concise: at the junction of the front panel and the edging, there is an inverted trapezoid on top conversational speaker, in the recess of which a mesh is hidden. A little lower on the right is an indicator of work, imperceptible in inactivity. Below the display is a block strip of touch control keys: “back”, “home” and “list of running applications”, with good typing sensitivity and moderately bright white backlighting.

The Desire V display itself is a 4” Super LCD matrix with a resolution of 800x480 pixels. The picture quality is good, the clarity is on top, the colors are saturated, and the brightness is more than enough. Capacitive technology and support for multi-touch up to 4 simultaneous touches during the testing process proved their worth - there are no complaints about the screen in these parameters. Alas, the behavior in the sun is depressing - the screen fades a little more than completely.

The left side of the device is reserved for placing only the micro-USB interface connector, which is shifted upwards from the center and does not have any protective plug. The right one is similar, under a thin volume rocker, in about the same place. Only the microphone hole is placed on the bottom, and the top is the most saturated: there are 2 elements - a 3.5mm audio jack on the left and a power button in the center.

On the back, elements are grouped along the left side, with the camera and flash console at the top, and the call speaker perforation at the bottom.

By prying with a fingernail or, for example, with a knife blade, the slot of the rear panel boat, we can remove it by snapping off the mounting tabs. Inside we are waiting for a battery (1650 mAh) in the appropriate recess and a platform for cards. SIM-card compartments are located back to back and are trays with fixing U-shaped brackets above them. The main, 1st card is hidden under the camera console and access to it is difficult (probably, the manufacturer believes that the user will only change the 2nd card and that one not often). Compartment microSD cards is located perpendicular to the SIM "kam and has a similar shape without a sled. We note an interesting feature that emerged as a result of testing: when putting on the back cover of the smartphone, it is not even an hour to bend the contact pad of the power button, from which it stops working correctly. We think you will not be so often remove the cover, but it's worth a warning.

HTC Desire V:: Overview:: User interface

The smartphone has relatively fresh, but not the latest software installed: this is Android 4.0.3 and proprietary Sense shell 4. We have already settled on one in the "One" line, there is no particular difference from Desire V in this case. Before us is the same colorful lock screen interface with an unlock ring and frequently used applications, these are five personalized desktops without circular scrolling, and a notification area bare against the background of Gingerbread. However, from the manufacturer you will get colorful widgets, a pristine manager of previously running applications, one theme and many backgrounds.

The main menu of page type and matrix view still supports different types sorting, and the tabs at the bottom will make it easier to navigate through the variety of applications. The settings menu is made in a vertical list and does not differ much from that in the "bare" OS.

HTC Desire V:: Overview:: Dual SIM

The service of simultaneous operation of two SIM-cards is organized correctly. To begin with, we note that when installed in the card slots, a setting is offered (hot swap is possible). The general item of the network manager will allow you to tap to activate and deactivate one of the cards, as well as select the name and preferred network. Note that slot two lacks 3G support, and there is only one radio module here: when working with the first card, you cannot get through to the second one. In familiar applications such as dialer and sms, a second button appears that allows you to select a sending provider, and the indication in incoming events is made by a number to the left of the subscriber.

HTC Desire V:: Overview:: Phone service

The dialer keypad is familiar, the keys are comfortable to use, and above it appears either Notebook, or recent calls, depending on whether there were calls. Call filtering is also provided, but there is no separate application for them.

As before, the notebook involves filling in the maximum number of fields and synchronizing with different accounts: nothing extraordinary, but for fans of the system, the simplicity of updating the book comes down to synchronizing with a Google account.

HTC Desire V:: Overview:: Messages

Sms and mms are grouped by addressee/number and inside are a sheet of correspondence clouds. The drafting principle is also simple: the text input window is at the bottom, and the main screen field is reserved for the dialogue. The settings are extensive as always, the options for adding content are maximum, the transformation of types is automatic.

Client email easy to set up, for typical providers there are already the necessary parameters in memory, all that remains is to enter the login / password. The display principle is a vertical list, the sender is in bold, and the message itself is in a system font, no more than three rows. Compilation is also familiar: to whom, subject and input field. All additional fields under virtual key menu. The settings are standard, allow you to make changes to account, and set up a scheduled scan, notifications.

Gmail has its own item, similar in essence, but with its own interface. The distinction between native and third-party client is the standard for the platform.

HTC Desire V:: Overview:: Organizer, office

The office suite includes a traditional set of applications scattered across the menu. Among them: office suite Polaris Office, a task list, a calendar with many settings and synchronization, an arithmometer and a clock that includes world time, alarms, a stopwatch and timers. In general, there is everything necessary and sufficient, and additional programs not hard to get from google play.

HTC Desire V:: Overview:: Communications

The device is capable of operating in GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800/1900 MHz, HSPA/WCDMA 900/2100 MHz networks (slot #1 only), has Wi-Fi® support: IEEE 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth® 4.0 and micro USB 2.0. Activation of modules has been removed from the notification area, which, in our opinion, is strange and illogical - plus one action in the settings menu. The performance of the models is not satisfactory, and for WiFi, traditionally, there is a “portable access point”, which will allow you to “share” the Internet from a smartphone, such as a laptop.

HTC Desire V:: Overview:: Maps & GPS

Map service from Google Maps with traditional functionality is supplemented by Locations from the manufacturer, a beta version of navigation and a "car panel". For traveling within the city, the set is suitable, but in general, we would look for third-party software for these tasks.

HTC Desire V:: Overview:: Online

Internet browser from home Google page has not undergone any special changes: the traditional worker and functional tool with the usual options: bookmarks, page search, desktop version, downloads, history and various settings. Why not put it right away Chrome browser, available at Ice Cream Sandvich, is a mystery to us. Perhaps it's in the status - beta.

HTC Desire V:: Overview:: Camera

The camera interface is optimized by the manufacturer for the convenience of shooting with one hand. Control indicators and settings are placed on the field of the viewfinder screen. Despite not the most stellar characteristics of the module, 5 megapixels, the personification of shooting is very rich: from quality and size, to various image sliders, ISO settings, white balance and effects. In general, the quality of shooting is not bad, but autofocus is not always accurate, especially in low light, and also thoughtful. Test shots, we think, will shed light on the quality of shooting.

Yes, the flash function, "flashlight" in Desire V is present as a proprietary "chip" of the manufacturer.

HTC Desire V:: Overview:: Multimedia

The music service, in addition to the player, includes a voice recorder and FM radio, as well as Internet services: 7 digital, a song store, Sound Hound music recognizer and ToneIn Internet radio. The player has a familiar interface and functionality: it finds songs anywhere ( inner memory, card), allows you to sort by tags, as well as display the control widget on the lock screen. Sound quality is good, but nothing outstanding, despite the claimed Beats Audio™ feature.

FM radio has the usual requirement of a wired headset used as an antenna. Further, the familiar interface and functionality, with the integration of Sound Hound.

The recorder will prompt you to select the encoding format and the location of the recordings, but as before, the sound from the line does not record. The app interface is nice.

HTC Desire V:: Overview:: Apps

The set of applications included in the basic package is familiar to the manufacturer. Among them:

  • Adobe Reader;
  • Dropbox - network storage with a bonus from the manufacturer;
  • Facebook;
  • Flash player;
  • Friend Stream - social hub;
  • HTC Hub;
  • Teeter is a traditional ball and hole game;
  • YouTube;
  • Task Manager;
  • downloads;
  • News and weather;
  • The selection is not redundant and well thought out, for the first time, out of the box, the smartphone is ready for simple work.

    HTC Desire V:: Overview:: Hardware features

    The hardware specifications of the smartphone look like this: Qualcomm processor MSM 7227A 1GHz, 512MB RAM, 4GB Flash plus card support microSD memory. The device does not have enough stars from the sky, this can be seen from the screenshots of the tests, but, oddly enough, in everyday life it copes well with the tasks. Those. We did not detect any delays in the operation of the interface, thoughtfulness when executing applications. Moreover, compared to Sensation XE, which had been updated to 4.0.3 by that time, Desire V visually runs even smoother.

    HTC Desire V:: Overview:: Impressions and conclusions

    Despite the presence of two SIM cards, the time battery life smartphone on average is a working day. Of course, you can reduce this indicator by increasing the load or increase it by deactivating one of the cards, but this is already an amateur. The quality of network reception is at a decent level, no failures were recorded. On the other hand, usually one module in places of uncertain reception usually insures another (we used MTS and BeeLine), so it was with us.

    The call volume is sufficient for most situations, there are no difficulties with this, and the vibrating alert is a good assistant in alerting, although the motor is average in strength. The speaker is sonorous, with a small margin, and there were no complaints about the microphone from the interlocutors.

    What is the result of the above? Except for the fact that HTC, in our opinion, cannot decide on the name of the products and finally release the Desire line into the past, everything is more than good. A pleasant and comfortable smartphone with a high-quality assembly from a well-known brand, on a fresh OS and with a competent study of the Dual-SIM service. With an average cost of 13,000 rubles at the time of writing the review, the solution seems to be optimal: yes, there are flaws in the screen and RAM, not the best battery life, but in general, the overall impression is positive. Having a need for smart phone and at the same time the need for 2 SIM-cards, you don’t have to choose especially, and is it necessary?

    Within the framework of this short material, two smartphone models will be considered at once: HTC DESIRE V and HTC ONE V. Specifications, technical specifications and other important information will be given in this review. Both the first device and the second appeared on sale 2 years ago. But even now they can still be bought. However, their parameters over the past 2 years have become both morally and physically obsolete.

    Equipment

    Their kit is identical. In addition to the device itself, it includes:

    1. Battery (for ONE its capacity is 1500 mA/h, and for DESIRE it is 1650 mA/h).
    2. Standard stereo headset.
    3. Charger.
    4. Cord "MicroUSB / USB".
    5. Device instruction manual.
    6. Warranty card.

    Everything else (for example, a case or a protective film) will have to be purchased separately for an additional fee.

    Chassis and ease of use

    Frame smartphone ONE made of metal (back cover and side ribs, as well as a lower protrusion under the screen) and tempered glass (front panel above the display). Everything is done qualitatively, there are no gaps and backlashes. An unusual feature of this device is the lower ledge. It takes some getting used to, but there are tangible benefits to having it.

    The first of them - the phone is more comfortable to hold, and the second - the microphone is closer to the lips, and the sound quality during a call becomes much better. A slightly different situation with the body of HTC DESIRE V BLACK. Its characteristics indicate that the body is made of plastic (back and sides), and the front panel is made of the same. The build quality is worse in this case. There are certain loopholes. Yes, and the body does not dare to call it monolithic.

    Another nuance that this smartphone differs from the previous one is the lack of a bottom bend. The screen size of ONE and DESIRE is almost the same. In the first case, it is 3.7 inches, and in the second - 4. It will not be difficult to control any of these devices with only one hand. In addition, the buttons and keys are located identically. The power button is on the top side of the gadget, and the volume rocker is on its right edge. Three standard touch keys are located above the bottom edge of the device.

    CPU

    An interesting situation with these devices turned out with the central processor. Both in the first and in the second case, we are talking about chips from Qualcom. Only here in ONE a more efficient CPU is installed, and its cost is much lower (the price for it now is $ 150, and for DESIRE - $ 160), and it is positioned in the segment of initial devices. The only thing worth adjusting for is the number of supported SIM cards. ONE has only one slot for installing them, and DESIRE has 2. So, ONE has a single-core MCM8255 processor based on the Scorpion architecture. Its maximum peak frequency is 1 GHz.

    In turn, the MCM7227 CPU is installed in HTC DESIRE V. Its technical characteristics are more modest. Yes, the frequency is similar - 1 GHz, but the A5 architecture is an order of magnitude weaker than the Scorpion. Therefore, from a performance standpoint, it is preferable to choose ONE, but today this difference is not so significant. The computing power of the chips is enough to solve such problems: watching movies, listening to audio files, surfing Internet resources, reading books and running simple games.

    Graphics and display

    As in the case of processors, a more powerful graphics card is set to ONE. We are talking about the Adreno 205 accelerator, which in terms of computing power will be better than the Adreno 200 used in HTC DESIRE V. Its characteristics will be slightly worse. But, again, over the past two years, both of these adapters have become outdated and to solve the most challenging tasks unsuitable. The DESIRE has a slightly larger screen - its diagonal is 4 inches. The ONE has a slightly smaller diagonal - 3.7 inches. But their resolution is identical - 480 by 800. And the number of displayed colors is the same - more than 16 million. The touchscreen is designed for 2 touches at the same time.

    cameras

    It should immediately be noted that front camera not in both the first and the second device. At the time of the release of these gadgets, such an attribute could only be found in very expensive devices. Hence the problem, which is that there is no possibility to make full-fledged video calls. You can either see the interlocutor, but he will not see you, or vice versa. In both cases, the cameras are based on an identical 5 megapixel matrix. There is also an autofocus system and LED flash. But the video recording is better with HTC ONE V. The camera characteristics indicate support for a resolution of 720x1280, that is, a full-fledged "HD", which the second smartphone can no longer boast of (only 480x800 pixels can be recorded by DESIRE). And here the problem is not with the camera, but with the processor, which is more productive in ONE V.

    Memory

    HTC DESIRE V cannot boast of an impressive organization of the memory subsystem. Its characteristics in this regard are as follows:

    1. 0.5 GB of RAM.
    2. 4 GB has built-in storage.
    3. The maximum size of external memory cards in this device can be 32 GB.

      ONE V has similar characteristics. That is, it turns out full parity between these smartphones in terms of the memory subsystem.

      Accumulator battery

      An interesting situation from the standpoint of autonomy develops with these devices. DESIRE has a larger battery capacity - 1650 mA / h versus 1500 mA / h for ONE V. But it also has a larger screen size, and the number of slots for SIM cards is 2 versus 1. Hence, the battery life will be less for the first of them . Therefore, from the standpoint of continuous operation from a single battery charge, it is better to buy htc phone ONE V. The manufacturer's specification for this parameter guarantees 3 days of battery life.

      System software

      One of the first smartphones that ran Android with serial number 4.0 was HTC ONE V. Its characteristics at that time were really good. The situation is similar with DESIRE V. It functions on the basis of exactly the same operating system. Even the OS add-on is identical - SENSE 4.0 from HTC. With its help, you can completely change the interface of the gadget to fit your needs. Whatever one may say, but from the standpoint of the system software equality between these models is obtained.

      Application software

      An identical set of applications is installed on both DESIRE V and HTC ONE V. The characteristics of the memory subsystem, previously discussed, do not allow installing many applications on them. But still, the standard utilities (calculator, SMS messenger and calendar) are installed. Also, the developers did not forget about the Google programs that are installed on them in full. There are social international services: Facebook, Instagram, Google+ and Twitter. Everything else will have to be taken from the Play Market.

      Interface support

      HTC ONE V and HTC T328W DESIRE V have the same set of communications. Their characteristics in this regard are as follows:

      1. The Wi-Fi module allows you to receive information on the Internet at speeds up to 150 Mbps. Great for files of any size.
      2. Full support for the most common networks. This is both ZhSM and 3Zh. In the first case maximum speed information transfer is 0.5 Mbps (you can view simple sites and chat in in social networks), and in the second - 15 Mbps (in this case, there are practically no restrictions on the amount of downloaded information).
      3. The Bluetooth module allows you to almost instantly transfer small files to similar devices.
      4. The navigation module "ZhPS" allows you to easily and easily find the shortest route around the city or area.
      5. There are only 2 wired interfaces: "MicroUSB" and 3.5 mm audio port. The first of them allows you to charge the battery and, if necessary, connect to personal computer. The second one makes it possible to sound signal to an external speaker system.
