Today I invite you to consider a very interesting problem - how to remove android screen long screenshot. This refers to the creation of a screenshot with scrolling the screen. The task is non-trivial and especially typical for capturing web pages that scroll across multiple screens.

It is impossible to make such a screenshot using the built-in Android tools, so in this article I propose to use two Android apps which will make this task much easier.

Taking screenshots from a smartphone screen is a very useful and requested feature. Many users use it for different purposes. But, despite the obvious usefulness of the built-in function, it has a big drawback - only those elements of the screen image that are visible at the time of its creation can get on one screenshot. If you act "in the old fashioned way", images stretched over several screens can be divided into several successive screenshots taken while scrolling the footcloth.

Relatively recently, to solve this problem, Xiaomi introduced MIUI version 8 in its shell. new feature- "long screenshot" (Long Screenshot). The long-awaited function of creating a screenshot for a long web page has pleased the owners of smartphones of the same name. It is easy to use and resembles the implementation of the image capture function in Panasonic devices. But, after the presentation of the technology for creating screenshots with screen scrolling, not every Android device was able to implement it in practice. In order to make the feature available, you will have to use third-party tools and follow a few steps on your smartphone.

Warning: in order to activate the function long screenshot on a smartphone without a MIUI 8 shell, you will have to download and install a third-party app from the store Google Play. Therefore, take care in advance of connecting the device to the Internet and the availability free space in your device.

Creating a Long Screen Scrolling Screenshot in the LongShot App

The LongShot app can be freely found and downloaded from the Google Play Store. It has been specially designed to take long screenshots on Android. The process of creating a screenshot in LongShot is quite simple if you select the desired mode.

Capture screenshot mode

  1. Open LongShot and select the Capture screenshot option in it.
  2. Once launched, the app will ask you for permission to start working.
  3. Next, LongShot will prompt you to select an application in which you will take a long screenshot.
  4. Open desired application and click Start. Scroll through the pages of the application on the screen in the required range. Click Done to finish taking screenshots.
  5. In this mode, you will receive not one long screenshot, but a series of screenshots cut from a footcloth stretched across the screen. You still have to work with them.
  6. You will see a list of screenshots with thumbnails. Delete unwanted screenshots. For verification, you can view the sketch in full format by clicking on it and selecting in context menu item "View in full screen". Then click on the thumbnail again and select "Delete" if you want to delete it.
  7. If you want to add something else to the long screenshot, click on the plus sign located in the circle and select an additional image.
  8. You can compose the future long screenshot the way you want - vertically or horizontally, in automatic or manual mode, with and without a status bar. To do this, you can click the "Configure" button in the lower left corner of the application and select the options you need.
  9. After setting the configuration options, click the "Join" button in the lower right corner of the application.
  10. After some time, which will be spent on processing and “stitching” individual images into a canvas of a long screenshot, you will be taken to the Stitch menu.
  11. Here you will see a draft of the future long screenshot, which can be further customized. If everything suits you, just click the Save button on the right upper corner.
  12. If something is wrong in the project, click one of the Adjust buttons next to each component and use the cropping options of each frame. For fine and coarse cropping, you can use the "1px" or "10px" buttons, up or down. After cropping, click the Done button and, if everything suits you now, click Save.

Important note: screenshot files are automatically saved to the /storage/emulated/0/longshot directory.

At first glance, taking a long screenshot is not easy, but believe me - the developers have made the process intuitive and understandable. And they have taken care of those who want to take a long screenshot of a multi-screen web page in just a couple of clicks. For this, a special mode "Capture web page" has been created.

  1. In the main menu of the application, click the "Capture web page" button. The built-in LongShot browser will open with an address bar in which you need to enter the URL of the site whose page you want to "screen". The site address can be typed or pasted after copying it in another application. Click the checkbox to open the page.
  2. Next, scroll the site page to the place you need, where the screenshot should begin and click the “Set start position” button. blue horizontal line will indicate the location from which the screenshot will be captured.
  3. Next, scroll the site page to the fragment where you want to complete the long screenshot. Focus on the horizontal pink line.
  4. Click the "End here and capture" button. At this point, a full-fledged long screenshot will be created with the scrolling of the web page.

Key features of the program:

  • Automatically stitches several screenshots into one, regardless of the direction in which the image was scrolled - horizontally or vertically;
  • performs auto-capture of screenshots while scrolling;
  • "floating" image capture buttons facilitate the creation of a series of screenshots;
  • manual image stitching mode for fine-tuning a long screenshot;
  • quick capture of a long web page, just specify the beginning and end and the screenshot is ready;
  • no watermarks, all functions are free, ads can be closed.

Long screenshot of a web page on Android in the Scroll Capture app

This application is perfect for taking a long screenshot from a web page deployed on multiple screens. Immediately, I note that the application is very simple, it does not get easier.

  1. Find and install the Scroll Capture app in the Google Play Store.
  2. Launch the application.
  3. Type in the address bar of the built-in browser the address of a site with a long web page that you want to take a screenshot of.
  4. If you previously copied the site address, the application will automatically pick it up and offer to open it in your browser. I do not advise you to refuse, this will further speed up the process of creating a long screenshot.
  5. After opening the page, click on the icon in the form of camera shutter petals at the bottom of the screen. The desktop image will immediately be filled with a purple tint and will become inaccessible to your "touches". A purple pointer in the form of a paint roller with a handle will randomly move in the center. It's strange why the developer chose this particular symbol ... It simply shows the process of scanning an image and creating a long screenshot. It will only take a few moments.
  6. Without any questions and the need to scroll the page, a long screenshot will be automatically saved to the program directory. It is created by default here: -->Pictures>Scroll Capture.

Of course, in addition to the two applications described above, there are dozens of others. Today they are able to make it easier for you to create a long screenshot on any Android device. But in my experience, LongShot and Scroll Capture are among the best, especially for taking a screenshot of a long web page spanning multiple screens.

Hello, dear readers of the blog site. Today I want to talk about a computer screen capture program called Snagit. Why might you need it? In principle, not everyone needs to make screenshots (sometimes just text content is enough) - it all depends on the topic you are writing about.

But the Snagit program has a lot of features and can be useful not only when creating a new article on the site, but also just in the household to solve a number of problems. everyday tasks, one way or another related to taking a screenshot or recording video from the screen (for later, for example).

But first, I’ll tell you in a nutshell (I’ll open America) about how to take a screenshot of the screen (Print Screen), where these screenshots are saved and how without additional software, but only by means of the Windows operating system, to pre-process the captured screenshot and save it to a file of the most convenient format for you raster graphics. After all, it’s not always that you will have the Snagit or program at hand, but you will need to take a picture.

How to take a screenshot using Print Screen

Let's first define what a screenshot is. Well, in general, this is a screenshot, i.e. an image of everything that the user sees on his monitor. In a particular case, you can take a screenshot not of the entire viewport, but only of the active application window, or in general of any separate area, but for this you will need special programs, for example, the same Snagit.

But we'll talk about this a little later, but now let's see how you can create a screenshot standard means Windows. This operating system provides two sets of hotkeys that allow you to take screenshots of the entire computer screen (button Print Screen), and snapshots of only the active in this moment application window (shortcut Alt + PrintScreen).

When operating systems did not yet have GUI, then pressing the Print Screen key resulted in printing an exact copy of the viewport (screenshot) in . You probably noticed how films of a decade or more ago were pressed just one Print Screen button to print the contents.

But in modern graphic operating systems(Windows) clicking Print Screen no longer causes the screenshot to be sent to the printer port, but rather copying to.

Actually, this causes quite frequently asked question Where are screenshots saved? The fact is that after pressing the mentioned key or the Alt + Print Screen key combination, the screen is automatically saved in the clipboard (as the clipboard is sometimes called), but no messages about this appear.

It is not entirely clear to the Windows user whether his action (multiple knocks on the key Screen print) any consequences. Did he manage to take a screenshot or not? It turns out that the second step after that should be transferring the contents of the clipboard to some program that could allow you to slightly correct the screenshot taken, well, and most importantly - save it to file.

I don't quite understand why the Windows developers didn't provide the ability to automatically open the system's default graphics program after the user has taken a picture by pressing the mentioned keys. This would be logical and would not cause numerous questions from beginners: “but Where are screenshots saved?

Okay, let's leave Bill Gates alone and see what kind of software can save the screen that we still managed to make and drive it to the clipboard. Probably the easiest option, which will be available even in bare Windows, is simple and used by default. graphics editor MS paint. You can get to its shortcut by following the path: Start - Programs - Accessories - Paint.

So, you need to take screenshots by pressing the Print Screen or Alt + Print Screen keys. In the first case, everything that is displayed on your screen will be captured, and in the second case, only the window of the application that was currently active (for example, it was selected by clicking on its top panel, or by clicking in the taskbar).

After taking the screen, it will be enough for you to open the Paint editor (or any other graphic editor or installed on your computer, and possibly) and press the combination Ctrl keys+V. In the editor window, you will see the screenshot you took of the screen or the active application:

You can easily crop or resize the screenshot you made, and then save it to a file of the desired graphic format by pressing the Ctrl + S key combination to open the "Save As" dialog box. The save format must be selected based on the characteristics of the image. Read more about this in the article about (Gif, Png or still Jpg).

The screenshot above was taken just using the Alt + Print Screen keyboard shortcut, only the active window (MS Paint editor) got into it, and not the entire contents of the viewport. In general, there is nothing difficult to do, but nevertheless, the software market has a whole galaxy of specialized applications for this business. Why, then, do we need software tailored only for this business, when everything is so simple?

It turns out that they are needed, but why exactly they are needed, we will try to look at the example of one of the best, in my opinion, programs for creating ordinary screenshots, snapshots of website pages (including from long ones, i.e. automatically scrolling them to the end and creating a kind of panorama, as well as for recording video from the screen.I'm talking, of course, about Snagit (great and terrible).

Because of this program, I still have not found a proper incentive for myself to study Photoshop, although I have pretty good Photoshop video tutorials that helped my wife already become a guru in communicating with this wonderful, but very difficult to learn graphic editor.

Snagit, on the other hand, allows me to do pretty much everything I need to add images to an article. Its built-in editor is so intuitive that all my explanations in this article could only be reduced to a link from which one could download a program for taking screenshots. But I won’t provide such links to you, because I try to follow the law and not distribute counterfeit software, but you yourself have a mustache.

Let me first give an example from life, when an application called Snagit came in handy for me and it would be difficult to do without it. It wasn't that long ago. I was engaged in revision by Alexei Kurakov. Actually, the text of the interview itself was sent many times by mail in the form of a Word file, where changes were made.

But the question arose, how to show Alexei the final version of the interview in the form in which it will be published. It would have been possible to set your password and login for him in WordPress to access the draft interview, but this was not convenient for a number of reasons, and I would not want to force Alexei to fiddle with passwords and the nuances of working in the admin panel.

Over time, I began to solve this problem using the Public Post Preview plugin, but then I remembered Snagit - after all, it can take a screenshot of the entire site pages, and not just the area that fits on one screen.

As a result, Snagit completed the task in a minute and I got a hard, but still very clear screenshot of the entire page with the future interview. Alexey read it, was satisfied with the design, made a few comments, after which I published this article with a calm soul. Such a slightly unusual use of the program for taking screenshots from the screen, or rather from the site.

But besides the ability to take screenshots various areas screen and record video, Snagit has a very easy to understand and master, but at the same time very functional graphic editor, which immediately opens the screenshots you have taken. Just what the standard Windows screenshot tool lacks.

Creating screenshots in Snagit - features and settings

But first things first. Let's first get acquainted with the capabilities of the program, and only then we'll talk about the capabilities of the graphic editor built into it. So, I think that you have already decided for yourself the question of where to download the working version of Snagit, so we will consider this stage, as well as the standard stage of installing the application, to be completed by you.

I’ll make a reservation right away that Snagit has a lot of opportunities and it won’t be possible to describe them all within the framework of one article, but this, I think, will not be required. The main task for me is to arouse your interest in trying it out in action, well, what kind of screenshots and in what tricky way this program is able to do, you will find out without me at random (scientifically, by the method of successive iterations).

All operations in Snagit (as well as in Windows) can be done with a set different ways and you will surely find at least one of them. The main window immediately after launch will look something like this:

Actually, Snagit is already in this state ready for work - to take screenshots. I have a version of the program with partial Russification at number 11. To take a screen, it will be enough to click on the big red circle, or use the key Print Screen.

In general, earlier, before I became an admin on the site and when I had a lot of free time, one of my favorite activities was to find and install as new versions of the programs I needed and did not need as possible. Now I just feel sorry for wasting time on this.

In comparison with the ninth version, which I used for quite a long time before, the management has changed somewhat. By default, screenshot creation (Image) is selected and the universal method is activated. "All in one":

In fact, a very convenient mode. Let's say you press the Print Screen button and move the mouse cursor over the application window from which you would like to take a picture. What do you see? If you move the cursor over different places window, then either the entire window, or the menu, or some other internal subdivisions of it will be automatically selected.

Those. now you don't need to accurately aim to frame the fragment you want to capture. In most cases, you will be required just a mouse click to create a screenshot desired area. In other cases, you can move the cursor and, by pressing the left mouse button, circle the area of the screen that you want to get as a screenshot as an output.

By default, the window (snagita) disappears after clicking on the big red button or on the Print Screen. It is almost always necessary there, but when writing this article, it prevented me from taking explanatory screenshots. So I had to choose from top menu"Service" - "Program Options"
and on the "Options" tab, uncheck the box "Hide the Snagit window when collecting data.

There will also be checkboxes that automatically, after taking a screenshot, send it to the graphics editor window so that you can mock it to your heart's content, and not be puzzled by the question of novice video users: where did the just taken screen go?

The mouse cursor will then take the form of a crosshair, and next to it you will see magnifying glass(removed by pressing the M key on the keyboard), which allows you to more accurately position the cursor when selecting the area of the future screenshot.

If the object you want to take a screenshot of has scroll capability, then when you move the mouse to the border of the window, you will see an arrow button offering you help in this difficult task.

After you're holding left button mouse, select the area for the screenshot, you can release it. As a result, the Snagit graphic editor window will open, where the screen you made will be located. Everything is very, very simple. I would even say elementary and intuitive.

Move on. Want to use Snagit take a screenshot of the whole screen? Yes, easily! Move the cursor to the upper left corner, the entire viewing area will be surrounded by a yellow frame. Although, of course, you can choose from the drop-down menu of the "Input" area the option " Full Screen"And click on the huge red button (or you can press Print Screen on the keyboard).

But then this mode will have to be changed, so it’s easier to get the hang of using all the features of the “All in One” option so as not to bother and get confused.

But note that Snagit is pretty smart, it understands that you may not want to take a screenshot of the entire viewport, but only of certain areas of it. Move the mouse cursor around the screen, and when the selected area matches your idea, then feel free to click on the left mouse button. Your huge or not so huge screenshot will open in Snagit's graphics editor, waiting for you to mock it.

So, but if you need to take a screenshot of a long page of the site (and not only), so that it fits entirely, then you will already have to choose the “Scrolling Window” option (see the figure above). Move to the place where you need grab large fragment with scroll and press PrintScreen on your keyboard. A yellow double-headed arrow will appear at the bottom, which you need to click on.

Snagit will start scrolling down the page of the site (one by one) until it reaches the end of the page. The resulting long screenshot will open in a graphic editor that has already become traditional, where you can create with it whatever your heart desires. Another thing is that all the same can be done without switching to the "Scrolling Window" mode, but remaining in the "All in One" mode. You just need to move the mouse cursor to the border of the window with scrolling and a double-headed arrow will definitely appear.

Capture video from the screen and create screenshots with a time delay

We have gone through the main basic capabilities screen capture software called Snagit. It is worth saying a few words about screen video recording with the help of her. To do this, you need to click on the "Video" label next to the big red button in the main window, and then on this biggest button (or press Print Screen on your keyboard).

Next, you select by holding the left mouse button the area where you will play the video. For example, in this way I recorded some online seminars, so that later they could be watched again if necessary. To do this, I selected the area on the site where the video was broadcast. As a result, the Record Video window will appear.

The next step is to start the video in the selected area (if necessary) and click on the "Rec" button in the Snagit program window. Video recording will start, which will be accompanied by a scrolling yellow frame on the sides of the capture area, as well as a flashing red dot on the camera icon in the tray (the area in the lower right corner of the monitor).

To stop recording video from the screen, you will need to click on the button with a square (or pause to pause) in the program window. If the window is not displayed, then click on the video camera icon in the tray and the window will appear.

With a little downturn, Snagit will open the screen-recorded video in its wonderful editor, where you can view it and, if necessary, save it in the format you need.

Of course, there are specialized applications for recording video from the screen, but Snagit can come in handy for a quick and easy operation. Well, come on, this is not a primary task, so let's get back to how else you can take screenshots with this program.

Sometimes you need to take a snapshot of something that needs to be first brought to the desired state. For example, show a certain complex dropdown menu item expanding it:

It is not possible to do this with regular Windows screen capture tools, but Snagit does it at once. So, screenshots of drop-down menus and other complex objects can be made using the “10-second delay” icon and pressing the big red button.

A stopwatch with a countdown will appear at the bottom of the screen on the right and you will be given ten seconds to prepare the object to take a screenshot. Personally, I take a screenshot of complex objects and drop-down menus a little differently. I select Snagit All-in-One in the main window and open the drop-down menus I need, then I press the Print Screen key on my keyboard.

The drop-down menu is frozen, after which I have the opportunity to select the desired section of the screen (by holding the left mouse button) and calmly take a screenshot from it (by releasing the left mouse button). Although it is possible that the ten second delay may come in handy in some exceptional cases that I have not yet encountered.

So, let's finish in the framework of this article the analysis of all options how to take a screenshot in Snagit. The rest you will somehow master yourself, since everything is simply impossible there.

But nevertheless, I want to pay a little attention to the second part of the program, namely its graphic editor, which has amazing intuitiveness and has almost all the tools that a webmaster may need to prepare an article for publication.

Finalizing the screenshots taken in the Snagit editor

So, the screenshot itself, which we manage to capture from the monitor screen with any program, will not always satisfy the requirements that we place on it.

Very often, it may require refinement and the addition of explanatory inscriptions, icons, arrows, frames, underlines, and other nonsense that will make the graphics in your article more beautiful, and most importantly, more informative.

On something like this:

All this makes it possible graphics editor in Snagit. It will even allow you to create your own drawing in a couple of minutes using very visual tools.

For example, like this:

In general, in the editor, all the tools are in plain sight and are located in the top panel:

In the upper left corner there is a round button, which is an analogue of the missing menu item "File", i.e. there you can save, send, print and delete graphic files opened in this editor. Although, the save button in the form of a floppy disk is displayed on a separate panel at the very top.

On the tab "Drawing" Snagit gives you quite a lot standard elements, which you can use to design the created screen. There will be many different options for lines, frames, arrows, inscriptions and other crap, which is easier to see than to read about it:

All additional graphic elements for screenshots look presentable and will not be ashamed to use them in .

On the tab "Image" you will be given tools to mock your screenshot. You can resize the screenshot, rotate it, overlay different visual effects. In general, try.

The graphic editor will have as many possibilities as in the main part of the program. Do not tell everything. Do you know what the main difficulty I had in writing and designing this article? I couldn't use Snagit to take screenshots of it myself. I had to go into its settings and look for a solution (I gave it above in the text).

In general, to solve the question of how to take a screen on a computer, as well as to avoid the question of where they are saved when you click on Print Screen, I advise you to try using Snagit.

It is possible that you have your own experience on this matter, but this software very quickly wins you over and it will be difficult for you to do without it, as, for example, many people no longer think of themselves without.

Good luck to you! See you soon on the blog pages site

Let's say we have a certain document or site that we need to capture in one picture. For example, you need to add our site to your portfolio, and it has a height of three or four windows. How to be? One of the options is, indeed, Adobe Photophop or any other graphics editor you know. You are simply creating a very long file(with a large height, so that everything fits for sure) and insert the captured pieces of the screen there one by one. Each time rewinding the scrollbar and making screen after screen. It works. But, it is worth remembering that if you have any floating elements on your page (social buttons, online assistant, form feedback and so on) these elements can be duplicated in your final image several times. With the help of simple actions, this can be eliminated in the same Photoshop, but for this you need to spend N-th amount of time (depending on your level of knowledge of this package). Therefore, we will look for other methods.

Image capture programs

I encounter this problem almost every day, and every time I collect puzzles in Photoshop when taking screenshots from a scrolling screen, it does not inspire me much. So, having suffered several times, I went in search of auxiliary software. Oddly enough, the search does not give anything sensible. There are several programs. Among them are both free and more advanced, for which you already have to pay. However, after trying a couple of free ones, I came to the conclusion that I needed something more powerful. The problem was that some sites, as I decided, have rather heavy graphics and the program can not cope with capturing the entire volume. It is enough for a couple of screens, and there are a few more pieces below. In the screen, they, in fact, no longer fall. Although the program happily tells me that the mission is completed. In the same time home page Yandex, where there is one screen and another five centimeters, she shoots easily.

I did not take risks and buy such software. Went back to photoshop.

And so, just the other day, I accidentally stumbled upon a plug-in for the Google Chrome browser, which copes with this task without any problems and is absolutely free! It's called "Google Screen Capture". There are several different possibilities, but the most necessary is the capture of scrolling windows. It is very simple to use - we ourselves set the necessary hot keys and at the right time we will screen the area we need. In this case, the pictures immediately fly to the specified folder.

Sometimes, in the process of working at a computer, we need to “take a picture” of some event that occurs on the screen of our monitor. For example, some program generated an error, or some kind of notification that it is impossible to deal with on your own, but you need to solve this problem. This is where the ability to “take a picture” of what you see on the monitor comes in handy - to make the so-called “screenshot” of the visible area of \u200b\u200bthe monitor, or in short - “screen”. To do this, you need to press the "Print Screen" key (sometimes the name on it is abbreviated, for example, "РrtScrn"), basically it is located either to the right of the F12 key, or just below. You can see its location in the pictures below.

The image will be placed on the clipboard, and to notify the developers of the program (or service technical support) about an error, you can paste it into a letter or other document (for example, MS Word, Excel or PowerPoint) and send it to them so that they can figure out why this or that error occurred and give recommendations on how to fix it. If you want to save a screenshot to your computer, then you need to open any graphic editor (the simplest one is built-in Windows Paint), paste it there (either through the "Edit" - "Paste" menu, or by a simple key combination "Ctrl" + "V" in the English keyboard layout) and save it in any convenient place on your computer or on removable media information.

If you need to take a screenshot of not everything that happens on the monitor, but only some separate window of a folder or program, then you need to make this window active, and then press the key combination "Alt" + "Print Screen" on the keyboard.

In general, screenshots are needed in cases where it is easier to show or send a screenshot of what is happening on the screen to the interlocutor than for a long time explain it or retype it into the text of the letter manually.

But what if you need a screenshot of a page that doesn't fit vertically on the screen? For example, you want to save as an image a long page that is five or six times the vertical length of your monitor, according to your vertical scrollbar.

There are several ways to do this.

1. The simplest, not requiring the installation of any programs, and at the same time the most time-consuming, and not very high-quality way is to take several screenshots one after another in succession, each time scrolling the page one screen down, and insert the resulting images in parallel one after the other, for example, in Word or Excel. The disadvantage of this method is its duration in time, obtaining a non-whole image and the need to fit the edges of the previous and next images to each other. You can use this method only in cases where you are in a hurry and you do not care about the quality of the final result. In this case, you will not get a whole, single image.

2. Using online services for creating screenshots of any pages of sites. For example, let's try to get a screenshot of one of the pages of my Smart Computer site, on which I talk about increasing the text size (opens in a new window):

On my work monitor, this page occupies four vertical screen sizes. There is a wonderful online service that can easily cope with the task, resulting in full-fledged screenshots of long pages. I suggest you read it and use it in the future if you like it.

By clicking on the link above, you get to a simple page on which you need to specify the address of the page of the site from which we want to get a full-sized screenshot. Copy it from address bar browser (or directly from this article) and point to our test page on this site: https://website/sovetyi/kak-uvelichit-razmer-teksta .

Press the “Capture Screenshot” button and wait for the site to generate an image (progress will reach 100%). This usually takes from a few seconds to a couple of minutes, depending on the vertical length of the page.

We click on the “Download Image” button, and the screenshot of the received page automatically downloads.

We open the resulting image and make sure that the service worked perfectly, a screenshot of the long page was received and saved as an image for further work.

Of course, there are a fairly large number of online services that allow you to do the same as Web Screenshots, but some of them are quite difficult to learn, some require registration to get the necessary image, so I recommend you what I use myself.

3. If you use the Google Chrome browser, then the task is simplified. In this case, you need to find and install an extension for Google Chrome called Awesome Screenshot. To do this, it is enough to enter search query search engines Google or Yandex the following line "Awesome Screenshot for Google Chrome" (you can copy it directly from here), and the first links search results go to the site for installing extensions for this browser.

Yandex:

Google:

After going to the site for installing the extension, click the "+ Free" button and install it in your browser:

Confirm the installation of the extension by clicking on the "Add" button:

As a result, from above in your Google browser Chrome will display the icon of the installed extension:

Let's analyze the main features of this extension. We click on this icon and open its menu:

Briefly on the main items of this menu:

  • Capture visible part of page- take a screenshot of a part of the page visible on the screen
  • Capture selected area- take a screenshot of the selected area (a very convenient option). After clicking on this option, you can select any area on the monitor screen with the mouse and get an image of this area.

However, for our original purposes (creating a screenshot of a long page) we need to visit desired page on the Internet and select the menu item " Capture entire page” (“take a screenshot of the entire page”).

The extension will scroll the page all the way down and redirect you to new page, where it will be possible to edit the screenshot taken, or you can simply click the “Done” button on top

Our screenshot is ready, it remains only to select on the right further actions with him:

  • Save- save the picture in a graphic file format;
  • Copy- copy it to the clipboard;
  • print- send the picture to the printer for printing.

We will save it as a picture, so select "Save"

Specify the location on your computer where to save the resulting file, and finish working with the extension.

I hope this article was useful for you. If you have any questions about the work of the methods indicated in the article, ask in the comments.
