So, we will compare flagship smartphones by 10 points so that there is a clearer impression of each device and a broader understanding of their capabilities. We compare smartphones by size, displays, memory, connectivity, cameras, operating systems, price, design, batteries and processors. You yourself will be able to calculate the number of points that each smartphone will score and you will be able to determine your winner.

Dimensions

We are dealing with two smartphones that have displays of almost the same size, and therefore the dimensions of the devices are naturally similar.

Samsung has the following dimensions: 142 x 72.5 x 8.1 mm, smartphone weighs 145g. On the other hand, we see Sony Xperia The Z2 is 146.8 x 73.3 x 8.2mm and weighs 163g.

Obviously, the Galaxy S5 is smaller and lighter than the opponent, and therefore we boldly award 1 point to the treasury of the Samsung flagship.

Displays

Samsung's flagship received a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (432ppi). The Xperia Z2 has a slightly larger 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with the same 1080p (424ppi) resolution.

As you can see for yourself, the Xperia Z2 has a slightly larger display and the difference is almost imperceptible, but Sony introduced the smartphone already with on-screen buttons. As for the pixel density, again there is almost no difference, and therefore this item becomes “worldwide” for the contestants, that is, you can add them either 1 point or just skip it.

Memory

Number of apps and games on Google Play store is growing every day and therefore you need more and more available memory on your device so that you can install the most interesting and useful. We are not talking about the fact that you want to have music, movies with you and store your personal photos and videos.

Galaxy S5 received 16GB or 32GB internal memory but it supports microSD cards up to 128GB, which is enough for all future smartphone users. The Xperia Z2 has 16GB of storage, but it also supports microSD cards up to 64GB.

Galaxy S5 also has 2GB random access memory, while the Xperia Z2 has grown to 3GB of RAM.

Well, it's pretty easy to figure out which of the two smartphones wins the round based on available memory. Despite the fact that the Xperia Z2 received more RAM, but even 2GB is enough for a modern flagship for all needs and for multitasking, but samsung galaxy S5 allows you to store more than 160GB of any content and this is a huge amount useful information. The Xperia Z2 is still limited, with a total of only about 80GB.

Connection

Samsung Galaxy S5 received support for LTE cat 4, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, DLNA, WiFi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC, infrared and microUSB 3.0.

Sony Xperia Z2 has support for LTE cat 4, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and microUSB 3.0.

Have you noticed the difference between smartphones? If you haven't seen this, then we note - unlike the Galaxy S5 Xperia smartphone Z2 did not receive an infrared port, Bluetooth LE and microUSB 3.0. This is clearly not enough to say that one of the smartphones prevails over the other. It's a complete draw here.

Camera

On the one hand, we have the Galaxy S5 with a 16-megapixel camera with selective autofocus, LED flash, 1/2.6 'sensor size, 1.12 µm pixel size, Dual Shot option, simultaneous shooting of high-definition video and photos, with support for geo-tagging , touch focus, image stabilization, smile and face detection, HDR, and 4K video capture.

On the other hand, Xperia Z2 already has a 20.7-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, 1 / 2.3 'sensor, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, image stabilization, HDR, panorama shooting, 4K video.

Although Galaxy camera The S5 has a new selective focus option that allows the user to choose the focus point after taking a photo, but the quality of photos from the Xperia Z2's camera will certainly be higher, which is why the Galaxy S5 loses this round.

Operating system

Both flagships received Android 4.4.2 KitKat from the very beginning, but you can find great amount differences between them, since the Galaxy S5 and Xperia Z2 have completely different user interfaces.

The Xperia UI on Sony's new flagship looks more elegant than Samsung's updated UI. But you will hardly find innovative features inside the Xperia Z2. In addition, the Samsung smartphone received a huge number of branded applications and services, such as PlayStation, WALKMAN and others, from which, in general, there is no use.

Of course, no one can get around Samsung in terms of the number of pre-installed applications, but the Koreans at least add a lot of new and useful things. Here is the new private mode work, and PayPal mobile payments (which works with the use of a fingerprint scanner), Ultra Power Saving Mode (which makes the screen black and white and only the most basic features remain available - SMS, calls, which increases the operation of the device up to 24 hours from 10% batteries), camera selective focus (you can select the focus point after shooting). You can see for yourself that due to such a huge selection of options, the user will be interested in the flagship Galaxy S5. We give him one more point.

Price

We will proceed from modern realities and note the prices of smartphones in our market, and not in the US or any other. Galaxy S5 is announced for pre-order with a price tag of 29,990 rubles. This is 599 euros, if you note the average exchange rate. The Xperia Z2 was initially available on pre-order for 599 euros, and we even rejoiced at this news. But soon Sony increased the price of pre-order and Xperia Z2 can now be ordered at a price of 679 euros. Moreover, the Smart Band bracelet, which was a pre-order bonus, is no longer included in the order package. All this is due to the lack of components that are used to assemble the Xperia Z2. In Russia, the price of Sony's flagship will certainly be even higher.

Design

Despite the fact that there were a lot of rumors and promises that the Galaxy S5 will already receive a metal case, the Korean smartphone manufacturer actually surprised us - again flagship smartphone received a plastic case and can hardly be called a premium choice.

The Galaxy S5 has a "perforated" plastic back cover that allows you to hold your smartphone more comfortably with a better grip. In my opinion, this repeats the design of the tablet Google Nexus 7 sample 2012. The smartphone also has a fingerprint scanner built into the Home button, a heart rate sensor under the camera, it has become waterproof and protected from dust.

There is no doubt that the Sony Xperia Z2 is still more beautiful smartphone. It's sleeker than the competition, with a glass body that gives it a premium style. But it doesn't have a fingerprint scanner or a heart rate monitor. However, the Xperia Z2 is also water and dust resistant.

If we talk only about design, then the Sony Xperia Z2 wins here.

Battery

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a 2800 mAh battery while the Sony Xperia Z2 has a 3200 mAh battery.

Despite the fact that the Xperia Z2 in theory can work for a very long time due to a capacious battery, do not forget that the Galaxy S5 has a new operating mode - Ultra Power Saving Mode, which will come in handy when you really need a smartphone as a simple phone. It is because of this that we decide to give a point in favor of the Galaxy S5.

CPU

We have talked about this in great detail before. Sony Xperia Z2 has a quad-core Qualcomm processor Snapdragon 801 SoC at 2.3GHz (Krait 400) with Adreno 330 GPU. Galaxy S5 has almost the same processor - quad-core Snapdragon processor 801 (Krait 400), but no longer with a frequency of 2.3 GHz, but 2.5 GHz. The accelerator here is the same - Adreno 330.

The 200MHz difference may not be noticeable, but it gives morale to those users who opt for the Galaxy S5. But let's be honest - it's a draw. Note that we do not touch on benchmarks, since everything will become clear only after the start of sales, when it will be possible to actually fully test the flagships. Now it's too early to talk about performance.

conclusions

So we have reached the finals of the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2 competition. So, one way or another, we will have to choose a winner. Note that in half of the rounds we were unable to determine the winner, since the characteristics were almost identical: display, connectivity, price (you must agree that the price in Russia will be clearly overpriced for both smartphone models), battery and processor.

The Xperia Z2 won the camera and design rounds as the Z2 will be prettier and has a 20.7 megapixel camera. Behind him are honest 2 points.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 outperformed the rival in size, memory and operating system comparisons as the S5 is lighter, smaller, has more memory, has more useful features in software. He scores 3 points.

Well, you can see for yourself that the Galaxy S5, although not very confident, wins. However, this is purely personal opinion and you may have different feelings.

The Sony Xperia C5 phone with the MediaTek processor has a high frequency setting. The operating system it uses is Android. According to the owners of this model, the smartphone has quite a lot of advantages, and it outperforms its competitors greatly. Display at this device set to 6 inches. Thus, its dimensions are quite impressive.

The device has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of built-in memory. Additionally, it should be noted that the battery in the device is available at 2930 mAh. Compared to other models, this is considered a pretty good indicator. Today, the specified smartphone costs around 24 thousand rubles.

Device stuffing

Due to the eight-core processor, the characteristics of Sony Xperia C5 Ultra are high. For comfortable control of the sensor, a high-quality modulator is installed in the phone. It is located directly below the display. If you believe the reviews of experts, then failures in the thyristor unit occur very rarely. Next to the processor in the phone is a microcircuit.

The filters on it are duplex type. Silicon contacts are provided directly for data transfer. If you believe the reviews of experts, then they are doing well with conductivity. Also noteworthy is the selector. In the phone, it is necessary to increase the performance of the device.

To date, they are functionally different. Thus, when choosing a browser, everything must be taken into account. If we consider "Opera Classic", then it uses classical control. At the same time, the browser menu is not overloaded with various settings tools. For a user with little experience in the Internet, it fits perfectly.

Standard messages this phone allows to send. To do this, you just need to go to the main menu of the device. Next, you just have to select the tab for creating a message. At the same time, they are loaded into the message quite quickly.

At the same time, the resolution of the photo can be changed if necessary. Switching to the camcorder is fast. The user can choose any location for saving files. Video quality can also be set in the camera menu.

Contrast, as well as brightness, are regulated quite accurately. The maximum video recording time is 25 minutes. Thus, when recording, you can not worry too much about the time. The flash always works great. The disadvantages include only a weak zoom, which is not able to greatly enlarge the picture.

Media player features

The player in the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra phone is able to boast of its versatility. If desired, the user can create albums on their own. At the same time, information about music is always possible to supplement. There is a melody scrolling function in the player.

The owner also has the opportunity to see the track time. The date the music was added is displayed in the album. The function of transferring a song in the device is provided. The sound of the player can be adjusted from the panel. If necessary, it turns off with one button. To adjust the stereo effects, you need to go to the player menu.

What are the reviews about the media player?

For the player, the smartphone receives mostly good reviews. This is due to the fact that it is very easy to manage. This is a proprietary feature of the models, so the reviews about Sony are usually positive. Xperia S5 Ultra is no exception in this regard. If desired, the sound can be adjusted quite accurately. There are many effects to change the sound. The player also has a background mode function.

Also noteworthy is the option to sort alphabetically. It is very easy to assign melodies by genre. The replay option deserves special attention in the player. Albums can be generated in the player very quickly. Of the shortcomings, only small ones catch the eye. At the same time, the rewind function on the player does not always work correctly.

What's included?

Together with the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra phone, the owner receives instructions about the device. It is made quite detailed, so there are a lot of rules in it. Before using the device, owners need to carefully study it. Charger comes with a small cord. Directly, the headphones in the box are standard. Additionally, the user will find a USB cable and a case separately in the set.

Special abilities

Almost everything can be configured in the Sony Xperia C5 smartphone. First of all, the convenient menu should be noted. If desired, the display scale can be set by the user. The drawing function of the model is provided. The transceiver in the smartphone is activated through the "Equipment" tab. In order to view error reports, you will have to go to the main menu. The screen layout option is provided by the manufacturer.

The hardware overlay function deserves special attention. In this case, display formats can be set. The auto-rotate screen option is enabled by default. In this case, there is no way to view the history of applications. The transceiver is turned on only through the equipment tab. If necessary, to speed up the processor, you can select the economy mode. This is done from the main menu of the device.

What applications are there?

A test editor is provided in the Sony Xperia C5 smartphone. Thus, when reading files, problems should not arise. Deal with system commands the device can use the "Adapter Checker" application. submitted file manager very easy to learn. If you believe the feedback from consumers, then running commands can be canceled with it.

To search for utilities, you can use the FileHippo application. stands out specified program from other convenient menu. Anti-virus system in the list can be found "Doctor Web". It has a quick scan feature. For communication, there are programs such as "Twitter" and "Skype". The user can also exchange messages through VKontakte.

How to make firmware?

Failures in the Sony Xperia C5 smartphone are very rare. However, the settings sometimes go astray, and then the device is not able to function normally. In order to correct errors in system files, you will have to completely flash the device. To date, this can be done thanks to the "Rum Manager" program. The file weighs a little, so it is downloaded from the Internet quickly. However malware can be very dangerous. Thus, it is recommended to run "Rom Manager" with the anti-virus system enabled.

Next, you need to connect your phone to the computer using a USB cable. The next step is to start the program and press the check button. All this is necessary in order to test the equipment. After the procedure, it will be possible to start the process. It will take no more than 15 minutes from a person. In this situation, the battery of the Sony Xperia C5 smartphone must be fully charged. Otherwise, the firmware process may be interrupted. Once the installation is complete, the device is safely removed and turned on. Next, you just need to check its performance.

Summarizing

Given all of the above, it should be noted that this phone has many useful applications. The device is easy to set up and easy to use. High price frightens many, and not very demanding people can always find a cheaper model.

However, this smartphone is characterized by high performance and a good camera. There are many functions in the device. You should also be reminded of the large display with a high resolution setting.

A large Sony smartphone with a good front camera - we are trying to determine the advantages and disadvantages. Looking ahead, we can say that for the money the purchase is not bad ...

A little about the phablet market

A report from Svyaznoy about the phablet market arrived at the right time, I am quoting it in its entirety, it will allow you to better understand why Sony updated its own line of large smartphones - by update I mean C5 Ultra.

“For the first 8 months in Russia, for the first time, more phablets** were sold than tablet computers with a screen less than 8.9 inches. In total, according to the results of January-August, sales of phablets in Russia amounted to about 3.5 million devices worth almost 44 billion rubles. Tablet phone sales in Russia grew by 128% in real terms and by 140% in money terms. At the same time, since the beginning of the year 2015, about 3 million tablets with a display diagonal of less than 8.9 inches have been sold in Russia.

Thus, the sales volume of tablet phones in Russia for the first time in history exceeded the number of sold compact tablet computers. Taking into account the dynamics of the tablet market, as well as the continuing interest in “large” smartphones, Svyaznoy analysts predict that by the end of the year, more phablets will be sold in Russia than tablets as a whole in pieces.

Also, for the first time in the history of the portable electronics market, the revenue from sales of phablets in Russia exceeded the same indicator in the category of tablet computers. According to Svyaznoy, in January-August 2015, tablets worth 31.6 billion rubles were sold in Russia.

The popularity of tablet phones, in addition to the form factor and functionality, is also due to their growing availability. Despite the fact that the average smartphone bill in Russia grew by 13% over 8 months, the dynamics in the phablet segment turned out to be not so high - in fact, the average cost of a “large” smartphone remained at the level of last year, amounting to 12,600 rubles. A more modest growth dynamics of the average bill of a tablet phone is due to an increase in the number of such devices in price segments of less than 15 thousand rubles.

In 2015, competition in the phablet segment has noticeably increased. A year ago, half of the tablet phones in Russia were sold by 3 companies: Samsung, SONY and Lenovo. They also received 60% of revenue in this category of smartphones. With the entry of budget phablets from Microsoft (Lumia 535, Lumia 640, Lumia 640XL), the brand's share in this category of smartphones increased from 2% to 11%, and sales of Microsoft tablets in Russia increased 13 times. Such a rapid development allowed the company to enter the top three brands of the most popular smartphones. Lenovo's sales in the phablet category more than doubled. The company managed to maintain its market share at 14%.

The top three market leaders in terms of share in rubles have also undergone changes. Samsung managed to maintain its leadership in the segment. SONY and Lenovo also occupy places in the top three, but Apple almost caught up with them - buyers reacted very positively to last year's new products, and the release iPhone models 6s Plus will allow the American brand to gain a foothold in the phablet category.

However, we note that despite the saturation of the tablet PC market, certain categories of these devices are in steady demand. This applies in particular to tablets powerful processor which have been successfully used with special applications and for games.

Let me remind you that the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium will be released at the end of the year. In theory, it can also be attributed to phablets. And I would also like to see a large version of the Z5 in two versions, one and two SIM-cards.

Design

The device is available in three colors: black, white and mint.

The device turned out to be quite large, but you will probably immediately pay attention to almost complete absence frames, although formally there are still bezels, they are very thin and slightly protrude above the display. When you put the device with the display down, the screen does not touch the surface. The areas at the top and bottom are visually normal, you can't say that they are larger than in other devices. In general, the device is firmly knocked down, the weight is felt, it is pleasant. In pictures, the C5 Ultra looks bigger and worse, in real life, many note that it fits well in the hand, looks and feels interesting due to the metal ends and minimalistic design in general.

In this model, the ideas of two devices were combined at once. This is the C-series - and therefore a quality front camera for taking selfies - well, it is also a logical continuation of the T2 Ultra. Not a flagship phablet, but not a toy either. There are no complaints about the assembly, slots for memory cards and a SIM card are hidden under the cover, there will be a version with two SIM cards. It is gratifying that Sony does not forget about support for memory cards, for users this is more important than a bunch of incomprehensible software or crazy functions and settings. Cards up to 128 GB are supported - this is really important. During shooting, you can choose where to save photos, the same goes for installing applications. True, it is worth buying a normal card - normal in terms of manufacturer and speed. So that there are no problems with running programs.

The microUSB connector at the bottom without protection and without plugs is a plus. Next to the front camera there was a place for a soft LED flash. The optics here are wide-angle, and the selfies are really good.

It's interesting that rear end here it is made of plastic, but the ends are made of aluminum, with a protection system, like the Z3. The corners are not part of the frame to avoid deformation. At the top end there is a 3.5 mm jack. By the way, the body is very easily soiled, especially in the case of a black device. We advise you to watch our video about the device.

Separately, I want to say something about this. The well-known Sharp smartphone, so beloved by Artem, has no frames at all, that is, there really are none. The Sony Xperia C5 has bezels on the sides, and, in fact, there are minimal bezels, the thickness is 0.8 mm.

As for the shoot button. She has two positions: press to focus, press harder, and the picture is taken. On my sample, the button works well, neither soft nor hard. When the device is locked, you can press the button, then the camera will start, you can take a picture. Another thing is that it does not start with latest settings(for example, 13 MP and the selected white balance preset), but with the default settings.

There is no water and shock protection, so you should not drown the C5 Ultra.

Display

There is a lot written on the Internet that a smartphone can use a display different companies with a little different characteristics. There are two companies, Innolux LCM and Truly LCM, supposedly on the C5 Ultra in black and mint color there is a Truly LCM screen, and in white - Innolux LCM. With the help of the service menu (*#*#7378423#*#*) I tried to see what the screen is, but the menu fails to break through to this item, you press it, but there is no reaction. If you also have C5 Ultra, post the results in the comments.

At first I read reviews about the fact that the display is faded, in fact, I would call the picture very, very calm - although for some it will seem faded and no other. Again, I suggest you look at the screen before buying.

In fact, the diagonal of the IPS display is 6 inches, the resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels, the picture is not bad, but this is not Retina and not a screen, as on Samsung flagships don't expect miracles. Sony abandoned the name “phablet”, and indeed, it seems like it’s not customary to call phablets phablets now, but the C5 Ultra is exactly what a phablet is. Able to replace a small tablet and smartphone.

Let me remind you that the iPhone 6 Plus has a display diagonal of 5.5 inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, while the Samsung Note 4 has a SuperAMOLED screen diagonal of 5.7 inches with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. And, of course, if a person is going to buy a phablet, he will consider all three devices - but here the C5 Ultra will have a very strong price advantage. When you hold the device in your hand, touching the edges of the display does not affect the behavior of the smartphone. For greater convenience, we have implemented a reduction in screen size: swipe up from the bottom left edge, and the screen becomes smaller, just under the thumb. You can use all the functions of the device with one hand. The screen in this state can be moved up and down, slightly enlarged if necessary. The function is not bad, useful if one hand is busy.

Performance

The device ships with Android 5.0 and uses a Mediatek MT6752 chipset (Octa core 1.67GHz). LTE is supported even for a device with two SIM cards, ARM Mali T760 graphics, Bluetooth 4.0, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of memory for data. Naturally, this is not enough, immediately get ready to buy a memory card. I have already said that it is not worth saving on the card.

  • ARM Cortex-A53 64-bit octa-core processor (1.7GHz)
  • ARM Mali-T760 GPU
  • MediaTek CorePilot™ unlocking the full power of all eight cores
  • Rel. 9 Cat. 4 LTE (FDD & TDD), DC-HSPA+, TD-SCDMA, EDGE
  • 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0
  • H.265 Ultra HD codec support

The interface contains things familiar to Sony, these are redrawn icons, camera settings, its own applications - for example, an antivirus and a program for determining tracks.

The device can not be called fast, in some applications the brakes are noticeable, the launch is long, there is heating. But when using conventional basic programs everything is more or less good.

Work with two SIM-cards

For SIM-cards, one tray is used, this is a convenient solution, it is easily pulled out, it is also easy to put cards in. In the menu, you can programmatically disable the use of a second SIM card, select a SIM card for data transfer, activate the Always Connected function, so calls will be forwarded to another SIM card if the second one is not available. The device supports LTE (two SIM cards), this is already becoming the norm for mid-range devices. price segment. I did not notice any problems in the operation of two SIM cards, except that those who like to save contacts to a SIM card will not be able to select the one they need - why do this now, I don’t know. Have phone memory backups. Unless you are constantly rearranging the "sim cards", then yes, you need such an option.

Working hours

Uses a 2930 mAh battery, claims 8 hours of video playback time. There is an Ultra STAMINA Mode, if less than twenty percent of the charge is left, it is worth turning it on.

It takes about four hours to charge using the bundled PSU, which is a little depressing. I used to put my smartphone on charge in the evenings, connecting it to PS4. Do not forget that the prefix easily copes with such a task, just one hundred percent overnight.

With normal use during the day, the battery does not drain quickly, the C Ultra easily survived until the evening, several times lasted until the morning. In general, as with most modern devices, expect battery life during the day.

In this device, as in other Xperia, you can turn on the power saving mode, it can help you if the charge level is about twenty percent and you do not know when you will be near the outlet in the near future.

Camera

Two cameras, each 13 MP, front-facing with LED flash focused on selfies, you can evaluate the quality by examples. The same effects are supported for both cameras, by the way, they can be additionally downloaded for Xperia cameras from the Google store. Supports HDR for both cameras, automatic scene recognition for mode selection. Of the effects, there are AR effects traditional for Sony, when mushrooms, gnomes, animals, and so on are added to the picture. If on flagships this happens quickly or very quickly, then with the C5 Ultra you have to wait, the download takes a couple of seconds, sometimes longer. There is a photo with sound, I did not understand this effect at all, nothing particularly attractive.

When Sony talked about new line, then they especially emphasized that we would fight hard for the quality of the pictures. As far as I can tell, this struggle has also affected the devices of the middle price segment, because the C5 Ultra takes good pictures, I suggest you evaluate the pictures yourself. My opinion is this: the camera can and should be used. It does not start immediately, it infuriates a huge number of extra settings instead of one setting - “Make a good shot”. The wide-angle selfie camera allows you to fit even a large company in the frame. If you use a monopod, then a huge group will fit.

conclusions

The device turned out to be rather strange, as they say, niche. I suggest you look at the pros and cons of the device. Here are the merits:

  • Interesting design, aluminum frame (but only plastic scratches, keep that in mind). As for the metal, it’s also interesting, when people take the C5 Ultra in their hands for the first time, they are surprised, it’s unexpected to see such material in an average price category. On the other hand, now is such a time - every manufacturer in an oversaturated market is trying to offer more for the same money.
  • The diagonal of the display is a plus for some, a minus for some. Of course, I would like to see a higher resolution screen with such a diagonal, but we are dealing with what we have. Note that I'm talking about the diagonal.
  • two SIM cards, LTE support- someone will say that there is no point in “dual”, but my friend uses C5 as a working tool, on big screen It is convenient to watch mail, in one device work and personal SIM-cards.
  • Support for memory cards is also a big plus.
  • Loud speaker.
  • Good sound quality, aptX support.
  • Good front camera for selfies (a plus for those who often take selfies).
  • Leapfrog with displays. After all, people behave predictably, “they write on the Internet that the screens are DIFFERENT,” and problems of choice, discussion, speculation, and so on immediately begin. To some extent, the C5 can achieve the desired result using the white balance in the settings, but I would advise just looking at the screen before buying. it The best way understand whether to take or not to take.
  • The performance is clearly different from the flagships, this is especially noticeable when the camera is working, there is no “immediacy”. Naturally, if you also use games, you will notice heating and slowdowns even more.
  • Speaker I found it quiet even at full volume.
  • Heating is not a disadvantage, but one cannot but say about it.

The retail price is 25,000 rubles for the version with two SIM-cards, if you search, you can find cheaper. Given the pros and cons, the price tag is quite justified. I would like to recommend Sony not to abandon this series, consumers are slowly but surely understanding the advantages of phablets, and such smartphones are needed. What would you like to see in the continuation of the C5 Ultra? I would like a screen with different characteristics, a more powerful processor, a matte plastic case (less fingerprints and scratches), I personally really like OnePlus One cases. Simple and tasteful. I would like support fast charging, a larger capacity battery. I suppose we can see a lot of the above in Sony's flagship phablets.

home Xperia feature C5 Ultra - 13 MP front camera, supplemented by the same own flash.

One of the best cameras

In addition to the technical side of the issue, the corresponding software was also added to the front camera, so with the PROselfie mode you will be the coolest selfie who can take pictures of himself anytime and anywhere, with flash, HDR and other bonuses. Perhaps this is the answer HTC Desire EYE from Sony. It would not be logical to do this front camera and not make a good main. Stylish design

In general, the design of the phablet is quite recognizable for Sony smartphones. You can criticize the large weight of the device - 187 g. However, there are people who like phones, the weight of which is felt in the hand. The case here is not collapsible, and accordingly the battery does not change. The battery capacity - 2930 mAh - should be enough for a full day of work, especially considering the effective energy saving program Stamina.

Productive "stuffing"
