Since 2015Samsung releases TVs with the Tizen operating system, which does not support the multicast function. Playback requires additional equipment - a router with support for the udpxy function. As such a device, you can choose ZyXEL Keenetic Lite III. You can set it up like this:
- In the address bar of the browser, you must enter the address of the router: 192.168.1.1.
- Authorization is required to enter the settings (by default, the username is "admin", the password is the same).
- In the web interface, open the item home network.
- Select tab udpxy server
- If at the same time on the router is enabled multicast (IGMP proxy), a warning will appear that the functions cannot be used at the same time. In the same window there is a button to disable IGMP Proxy. By clicking it, you can continue the configuration.
- When the function is turned on udpxy the router will automatically suggest the number TCP port(default - 4022), this number must be remembered - it will be required to further configure the application on the TV.
- We press the button Apply and reboot the router.
The next step is to configure the application. Choose an item Menu, Further Settings→ Video and audio→ udp proxy→ Turn on.
In the window that appears, you need to enter the address of the router and the number of the selected port (192 - 168 - 1 - 1 - 4022)
