Design

After the new ones were introduced with an edge-to-edge screen, Cupertino decided to implement a similar idea on the iPad. Thus, instead of a 10.5-inch iPad, it turned out to be 11-inch due to a thinner bezel around the perimeter. And the 12.9-inch iPad retained its screen size, but slightly decreased in body size, which made it a little lighter (by 25 percent).
