Highscreen is a well-known Russian brand, and the novelty of last summer, the Pure Power smartphone, fell into my hands. He attracted attention with his impressive battery (and it is as much as 8000 mAh) and an attractive price.
The review got a model with a bright orange lid, which will be to the taste of creative individuals and those who do not like banal colors such as black.
Package
The model comes in a medium size white cardboard box. Having removed the cover, we immediately see the smartphone itself with a display sticker that lists the advantages of the model (why do this in 2016?), instructions and a warranty card. Under the smartphone are headphones, a micro USB cable, Charger 2A and an OTG cable (for charging other devices from a smartphone).
Appearance: brutal and weighty
Outwardly, Pure Power looks impressive and resembles smartphones from the Zer line. Taking it in your hand, you immediately feel its weight (239 grams), which is very logical with an 8000 mAh battery with a 15.5 mm case and unusual at the same time. Speaking of dimensions, I got used to its weight for about three hours. The device is made of high-quality matte-colored plastic, which is not very easily soiled, so there will be no problems with cleaning fingerprints. On the right side face are the volume rockers and the power button of the smartphone. On the back is a camera with LED flash and a speaker. Well, on top is a micro USB port and a standard 3.5 mm jack. 
The side edges protrude slightly at half the length, which is a controversial decision in terms of ergonomics and convenience. The speaker of the device for high-quality listening to music will not work in any way, but will be great for calls and notifications. 
Having activated the smartphone, at first I went into a stupor, because I could not find the control buttons on the panel. As it turned out, you can forget about the touch buttons. They are made virtual, which in my opinion is inconvenient, given the hefty bottom panel, which would be ideal for their functions. 
The device has a slot for two SIM-cards and MicroSD. So the question of choosing between operators or increased memory disappears, which is already good. Despite the fact that the device has a removable back cover, it fits snugly against the body without gaps and protrusions. It is also worth noting that no creaking or play of parts was found.
Display and sun
Highscreen Pure Power has a 5-inch S-IPS display with HD resolution, which will be quite comfortable for reading, working, playing games and watching videos. By setting the backlight to maximum, as it turned out in the sun, the display fades when exposed to direct sunlight. It is also worth noting the display support for up to 5 touches.
Characteristics
Now about the processor and the operation of the model. The smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor with Cortex A7 and Mali-400MP2 graphics. 1 GB random access memory and 8 GB of flash memory, enough for use. Of course, applications take longer to launch compared to top models, but no glitches or lags were noticed in the work.
Supports Pure Power work only in 3G networks. Receives the signal perfectly without gaps. On board Bluetooth 4.0, GPS module and single-band Wi-Fi.

The smartphone was used in full for two weeks: games, calls, SMS, instant messengers, surfing the Internet, etc. In general, the standard performance of tasks. First of all, I would like to say that Highscreen Easy Power is not an OEM analogue from a Chinese manufacturer. The smartphone is completely designed in our country, Chinese partners only provide services for the manufacture of the case and the final assembly of the product.
If you are looking for some design solutions in this smartphone, then I hasten to disappoint you, they are not particularly here. The smartphone is not designed for beautiful show-offs, but for real work. The work is in the maximum time battery life, (sorry for the tautology) and this is the main feature of this smartphone.

The screen manufacturer is LG. The IPS screen is made using ONCELL technology. This technology allows you to abandon the air gap between the glass and the touch layer. The image on the screen without an air gap is more contrasting and saturated.
There is a function of automatic brightness adjustment, it works quite correctly.
But the viewing angles are not the maximum possible. At a certain tilt, the image on the screen is still slightly inverted.

The gamma curves show a pretty good result, deviations from the reference curve are minimal.
But the color channels already have a significant spread.
The color temperature is too high, the colors on the screen will have a cold tint.
For the sRGB standard, we also see slight deviations.
But since we have advanced color settings, the screen characteristics can be tweaked for the better, and this is a definite plus.
CAMERA
The main camera in the smartphone is represented by an 8MP matrix. There is autofocus, the speed of the camera is low. The settings are standard for most cameras on the MTK chip.

MediaTek MT6737 is a 64-bit quad-core processor based on the ARM Cortex-A53 platform. Has an integrated LTE support 4G WorldMode and CDMA2000 3G for mobile network. Dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 with wireless networking.
The Mali-T720 MP2 chip (two cores) is responsible for the graphics. Works at max. frequency 650MHz. The power of the video chip is enough for most games, except for demanding ones with a high level of graphics. This SoC also boasts very low power consumption.

But what about the games? The games we tested run well on default graphics settings. Increasing the quality of graphics leads to a decrease in performance, but one way or another, even heavy 3D games can be successfully played on this smartphone. With a serious load, the smartphone case practically does not heat up, only in the upper part of the screen it becomes a little warm.

The smartphone has GPS support. The GLONASS module is available only in the PRO version. But even without the support of the Russian standard, the smartphone has no problems with navigation. Fast "cold" start and up to 9 satellites, which for GPS systems is an excellent indicator.
Implemented support for two SIM-cards. micro format. There is only one radio module, the settings are standard. For each of the SIM-cards, you can set your ringtone. Voice transmission is good, despite one active microphone.
The built-in radio only works when a headset is connected, at home we managed to tune 13 radio stations and this is a good result.

AUTONOMOUS WORK
I must say right away that the main task of this smartphone is to work VERY, VERY long! Everything else doesn't matter!
As I said above - the battery in the smartphone is monstrous 8000 mAh! Even the spirit captures from such values!
Pay attention to how thick the battery is.
The sizes are also appropriate.
The weight is 135 grams. Many smartphones already weigh so much with the battery.
The package comes with a fairly compact network charger.
Output charge current 5V=2A. There is no point in using a less powerful charger (you will charge your smartphone for a “long time”).
Even from a complete charger, the smartphone was charged for 6 hours.
In the settings there is an item responsible for saving energy. We have an 8000 mAh battery!!! Why save anything at all?
The battery was 70% charged out of the box. To start testing for power consumption, I had to use a load tester, since just taking and discharging such a smartphone is quite problematic.
It was not possible to completely discharge the smartphone to zero. The device turned off at 6% charge. When charging a smartphone, the first 3000 mAh filled up in 1 hour 30 minutes at a current of 2A. After 7000 mAh, the charge current dropped to 1A.
So how long does it "live" this smartphone on one full charge?
I must say right away that I call a little, social. I do not use networks, and I rarely use instant messengers. In this mode, the smartphone lived with me for 9 days! Carl, 9 DAYS!!!
Then I gave the smartphone to my wife for the test, well, you understand that here the battery life was already less. On one charge with frequent calls, data transfer, Wi-Fi, social services are always on. networks, etc. smartphone lasted 3 days. Not a bad result, considering that she charges her Honor 6X with a 3340 mAh battery every day.
In standby mode, the smartphone will most likely easily withstand 3-4 weeks or more. But as you know, spending so much time on the test is inappropriate.
I also ran a standard battery discharge test with the PC Mark test suite for Android OS. After 21 hours, the test stopped spontaneously, but there was still 24% charge left. In this mode, the smartphone could work another 7 hours. As a result, it can be argued that the discharge from 100% to 1% will take about 28 hours - this is just a fantastic result!

Not everyone needs smartphones with powerful processors and cool cameras. For many, battery life is very important, and this is where Easy Power becomes easy. ideal solution, I safely recommend this smartphone for purchase if the battery life is not in last place for you.
