Tele2, better known as a telecom operator, succumbed to trends and began to produce own smartphones. Like other companies in this area, Tele2 started from the budget segment. Their products do not claim high performance performance, speed, and so on. Simplicity, build quality and reliability are the main parameters of the novelty. And also the cost. In this review, you will learn the characteristics of the Tele2 Mini 3G smartphone, learn the impressions of using the device and much more.

Characteristics of the mobile phone Tele2 Mini

This device does not seek to break performance records or surprise you. modern technologies. Everything in it is invented long ago and was relevant several years ago. A smartphone is like a real workhorse: it has everything for ordinary user mobile phone. Consider the characteristics of the device:

  • The smartphone is manufactured by the Chinese company Haier Electrical Appliances;
  • Operating system Android version 5.1 with installed shell Lollipop;
  • Screen with a diagonal of 4 inches and a resolution of 800 by 480 pixels;
  • Has two cameras. The main one is 2MP, and the front one is 0.3MP;
  • 2-core processor;
  • 4GB of internal memory for storing personal data;
  • Support for two SIM cards;
  • Support wireless transmission data using interfaces Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi.

In general, according to technical equipment the device is the most budgetary. All components are selected to perform simple functions smartphone.

Overview of the configuration of the Tele2 Mini smartphone

The device is sold in a small black box with the model name and company logo. The package bundle of the device is quite standard for the budget segment. In the box you will find a charger, a USB cable that is used to connect to a PC and a charger, a user manual, headphones and the phone itself. Do not expect to get high-quality headphones with your phone. The manufacturer added them to the package rather for making calls than listening to music, since the sound quality is frankly weak. However, the analogue, which is MTS Smart Start 2 cannot even boast of having a headset in the basic package.

Design Tele2 Mini

The variety in the segment of budget smartphones is amazing. However, not many manufacturers can surprise appearance devices. The miracle did not happen in the case of Tele2 Mini either. From the front, the device looks like any other Android smartphone. Below the screen are three touch buttons, traditional for this operating system. In the center of the rear panel is a window with a camera and flash. Below is a hole for the speaker. Designers did not copy the style under the net competitive models and added their touches. Thus, the smartphone does not look like a "soap box" with rounded corners (which is typical for most budget cell phones).

It is worth noting the build quality. All body parts fit perfectly, there are no extra slots and gaps. The back cover is quite dense, so it cannot be pushed through. The smartphone does not slip out of your hands, so you don't have to worry about falls.

Phone display Tele2 Mini

The Tele2 Mini smartphone has a 4-inch screen with a modest resolution of 800 by 480 pixels (TFT matrix). To the surprise of many, even with such a matrix, the phone manages to produce an acceptable picture quality for its price category. Talk about total absence distortion and accurate color reproduction is not necessary, but by adjusting the brightness for yourself, you will not experience discomfort. The screen, though capacitive, but responds to only two simultaneous touches. The screen coverage is not very successful: the finger does not slide well when scrolling.

Characteristics of the camera phone Tele2 Mini

Both cameras are as simple as possible and do not have a wide range of settings and modes. The most important advantage is the interface and control when shooting. Everything is extremely accessible and understandable, you can change the mode or resolution in just one click. With good daylight, you can achieve good quality pictures from the main camera. Interestingly, the frames from the front camera practically do not differ in quality from the main one.

Battery Tele2 Mini

The smartphone has a removable battery with a capacity of 1500 mAh. It would seem that there is enough capacity for the budget Tele 2 Mini, but this is not so. With constant use throughout the day (surfing the Internet, music, shooting, calls, and so on) full charge The battery will last a little more than a day. If you turn down the brightness, the smartphone will last about a couple of days in standby mode. Overall, not bad. But this device is positioned as an affordable and trouble-free phone. Such an operating time can be forgiven for top models, but not for budget ones.

Tele2 Mini Performance Review

The test results show that the performance of the Tele2 Mini would have been good about 2 years ago. At the time of 2016, the figures look quite sad. The new device has 512MB of RAM. This is too little for stable operation majority modern applications not to mention games. However, she operating system works flawlessly: all swiping and system applications work smoothly and do not slow down.

built-in volume hard drive also categorically lacking. Of the 4 GB, almost half is occupied by the operating system. You can't do without buying an additional memory card.

Verdict

The creators themselves give a description of the Tele2 Mini smartphone: “a smartphone is like a smartphone, nothing unusual.”

This phrase describes exactly this device. You can buy the device for 2490 rubles. The phone justifies its price tag by 100%. The only disappointing moment is a weak battery. And some things can even pleasantly surprise you - the quality of the pictures and the image on the screen. You can read an overview on how to root Tele2 Mini in the next article. On the site you will also find materials about the intricacies

Each operator strives to offer its subscribers inexpensive smartphone with the most requested features. Tele2 is no exception. The company has released an affordable smartphone called Tele2 Mini with a 4-inch screen, support for 3G Internet, Wi-Fi, map navigation. In addition, phone owners can use two SIM cards from different operators (one must be Tele2).

Tele2 showrooms have one of the most affordable smartphones presented on Russian market. We are talking about the compact Tele2 Mini. Of course, this model cannot compete with flagship devices, but among the budget class it has quite decent characteristics. Among the features include support for two SIM-cards and third-generation networks.

It is quite possible that the novelty will become the best-selling among devices under 2,500 rubles in Tele2 retail. Whether this is destined to be, we will figure it out in the course of our test review.

Package contents and first impressions

id="sub1">

The smartphone comes in a black hard cardboard box. The model name and a stylized picture of a mobile phone with a 3G icon are printed on the front. The main specifications are listed on the back of the package.

Inside, in addition to the phone, there is a battery, a wired stereo headset, an AC adapter, and USB cable-microUSB. As for the headset, it is the simplest, without ear pads. The sound quality of the headphones is satisfactory. The sound is flat, voluminous and detailed at the level of cheap models.

Delivery set includes:

Smartphone Tele2 Mini

Battery 1500 mAh

Adapter for connecting to the electrical network

USB to microUSB cable

Wired headset

Instructions and warranty card

The first thing you notice when you take a smartphone out of the box is its small size. The device easily fits even in the palm of a child. Actually, the dimensions of Tele2 Mini are 125.4 x 64.5 x 11 mm, weight 111 grams. Three or four years ago, all mobile phones without exception had such dimensions. Now this is a rarity.

Appearance and dimensions

id="sub2">

Externally, Tele2 Mini is similar to many other budget-level devices. Here you will not see any extravagant design techniques. The edges are neatly rounded, there are no right angles and rough lines. The case itself is made of hard plastic. On the sides there is an insert painted in bronze (for black base color) or silver (for white base color of the body). The back cover has a textured surface, consisting of very small squares. Due to the texture, the smartphone does not slip out of the hands. This is a plus.

Fingerprints, dust, etc. are visible on the polymer glass that protects the display. There is no oleophobic coating here.

On the front side of Tele2 Mini there is a light sensor, a proximity and position sensor. There is also a speaker for voice calls. On the right is the front camera. It can be used to communicate via VoIP, as well as Skype. The central place is occupied by a 4-inch screen. Below it are three touch control buttons.

The power button and screen lock is located on the right side face. The volume key is on the left side. At the top end there is a connector for a microUSB interface cable, as well as an audio output for a wired headset. There is a microphone on the bottom edge.

The camera lens is located on the back of the device. There is also an LED flash that can be used as a flashlight.

At the very bottom is a speaker for playback external sounds and music. It is quite enough to hear the call. Problems can arise if your smartphone is at a decent distance from you, or in the pocket of winter clothes. But this is typical for all smartphones.

The back cover is securely fastened. It is quite difficult to remove it (there is a special slot in the lower part on the side), the fastening is very rigid. There is no backlash or squeak. Under the cover there is a battery and three slots - two for SIM cards (both for standard size SIM cards) and one for a microSD card.

The model is directly produced by the Chinese company Haier Electrical Appliances Corp., Ltd. The assembly of the device can be estimated at a solid five. During the test, I did not find any squeaks or backlash of individual parts.

Screen. Graphic features

id="sub3">

Tele2 Mini has a screen with a diagonal of 4 inches and a resolution of 480x800 pixels. It is made using TFT technology. The picture shows that the simplest display is used here. Nevertheless, the image is quite adequate, colors, contrast and brightness are at a sufficient level. Viewing angles are not the greatest. When deviating from the normal, the picture starts to change colors. Considering the price, the screen is quite functional. For my target audience- very much.

There is no automatic brightness control here, it can be adjusted in the corresponding section of the menu. The device normally perceives touches, there are no problems with sensitivity.

In the sun, the image on the screen fades a lot, but the texts and useful information can be disassembled.

Hardware platform: processor, memory, speed

id="sub4">

Tele2 Mini is running a dual-core Mediatek processor MT6572 clocked at 1.3GHz. Random access memory only 512 MB. By today's standards, memory is not enough, but for the most budget option this is a kind of standard (let's not forget about the low cost of the device). Built-in memory - 4 GB, about 1.75 GB of which is available to the user. For this reason, music lovers can purchase a microSD memory card along with their smartphone. There is support for cards up to 32 GB.

The overall performance impression could be worse. I was expecting a much slower interface, but the developers, apparently, have optimized the firmware so that it does not hang. In fact, the device runs smoothly, without slowdowns with most applications. The exception may be games, browser, streaming services, video.

Communication options

id="sub5">

Tele2 Mini works in mobile networks of the second and third generation. Max speed downloading files in the 3G network - 21 Mbps. The device has two slots for SIM cards, both of standard size. One of the slots supports Tele2 SIM cards, the second - SIM cards of any operators.

It should be noted that there is only one radio module in the smartphone. This means that when you call an inactive SIM card, your interlocutor will not get through to you. Present standard settings work with mobile internet(3G only support one sim card). To work mobile communications During testing, I have no comments.

From wireless interfaces, I note availability of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth version 4.0. There is GPS navigation.

Battery life

id="sub6">

The smartphone has a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 1500 mAh. Declared up to 3 hours of talk time, up to 3.5 hours of 3G network. Under test conditions, with the number of calls 40 - 45 minutes a day, always-on Wi-Fi, browsing the Internet for about 1.5 hours, working with social networks and online applications, listening to an mp3 player through a headset, the device worked for about 2 hours 1, 5 days. With less intensive use, it is realistic to achieve a working time of 3 or even 4 days. For example, if you do not use the mobile Internet and still make calls, the phone will work for 3 days.

The screen and camera consume the battery the most - I watched a couple of videos on YouTube, took several dozen pictures, read a rather long text on a news site and up to 15 percent of the charge was gone. If you wish, you can buy a spare battery, however, snapping off the cover each time to replace it is a dubious pleasure.

The rechargeable battery is charged in only 1.5 hours, from the computer a little longer.

User interface and operating system

id="sub7">

Tele2 Mini works under Android control 5.1 Lollipop. The gadget does not have any additional shells. On the lock screen, everything is standard for Lollipop: there is a clock at the top, notifications from applications in the center, and means for unlocking the device, a quick transition to the Phone application and turning on the camera at the bottom. By double-tapping a notification, you can open a file, email, or message directly from the lock screen.

The notification bar curtain is double. By pulling once, you can open notifications from applications, by pulling the second one, you can call up the smartphone settings control buttons.

As far as typical phone features go, the interface is familiar to Android 5.1 Lollipop: a classic simple sans-serif font with blue numbers.

The keyboard is also standard and supports continuous input, but it takes some getting used to, since there are no borders between the keys.

All necessary applications can be installed from the store Google Play.

Camera and video

id="sub8">

Tele2 Mini is equipped with a main camera with a 2 megapixel sensor with LED flash, but no autofocus. The front camera has a resolution of 0.3 megapixels without autofocus.

The camera shoots frankly poorly. Photos are obtained on the "C grade". The flash in the device works quite well, not highlighting the subject, but highlighting it.

In buildings and at night, the camera experiences great difficulties, and it becomes much more difficult to get a high-quality picture. Moreover, in the case of shooting street lights, the white balance walks a little and instead of a warm yellow-orange tint, it takes the picture to a cold gamut, which causes color reproduction to suffer. I also note that the device does not have the ability to shoot panoramas.

The front camera is frankly weak. Detail and color reproduction are poor.

The video is written in 640 x 480 quality and is of mediocre quality.

Tele2 services

id="sub9">

There are several Tele2 applications on the smartphone. In particular, there is a service "My Tele2" - Personal Area for Tele2 Russia subscribers. The application will help you check the balance and balance of minutes, SMS and megabytes in packages; order details; view spending statistics by month; replenish the account or make the promised payment; change tariff; enable or disable services; view a list of nearby offices.

In addition, the Tele2 TV program is installed - a mobile television client. Internet traffic through mobile network Tele2 when using the Tele2 TV application is not charged. All new users are given a promo period - 7 days, during which viewing of channels will be free. After seven days, viewing channels is possible for a monthly fee of 7 rubles. per day, watching movies will be available for 9 rubles. per day. The funds will be debited from the mobile account of the Tele2 subscriber.

Another application is "Tele2 Beep". It contains the most popular melodies, as well as the latest hits. Before ordering, you can listen to your favorite song and install it instead of a beep with one click. Also, right in mobile application It is possible to set the conditions for playing the melody. It should be noted that when registering in the application, the “Beep” service will be automatically connected if it has not been connected before.

Tele2 Mini works as it should budget smartphone. He can call, send messages and work with 3G Internet. Additional Applications can be installed from the Google Play store. The pluses I can include compact size, excellent assembly, case materials. In addition, I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of the interface. The device also has weaknesses. Among them - not too big time battery life, as well as a small amount of RAM.

Pay attention to low price, it is impossible to demand extraordinary abilities from Tele2 Mini. He is good for his money. The pluses I can include compact size, excellent assembly, case materials. In addition, I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of the interface. The screen, although not IPS, is quite sufficient for itself to use the Internet, social networks and play simple games. In general, no surprises, neither pleasant nor unpleasant. The model is fully consistent with the price.

On the day of publication, Tele2 mini could be bought at a price of 2,190 rubles.

A budget gadget for two SIM cards with a more than reasonable price tag (2190 rubles) will surely find its buyer. The main purpose of the device is to provide an inexpensive smartphone to potential Tele2 subscribers who do not want or simply cannot pay five or more thousand rubles for a 3G-enabled phone.

Mini (characteristics, speed, autonomy, etc.) does not shine with technical indicators, but, nevertheless, the gadget is quite good for its price. In any case, the cost of the device will attract its client, so let's consider the gadget in more detail in order to decide on the eternal question: “To take or not to take?”

So, the hero of today's review is the Tele2 Mini smartphone: details of working with it, main technical characteristics, design, ergonomics and whether it is worth buying at all. The opinions of experts and reviews of ordinary gadget owners will be taken into account.

Price policy

In some regions, the 2G standard network is not supported by the Tele2 operator, so, alas, part of the audience will be lost. Nevertheless, the ratio of price and characteristics of the device can be described as the standard of "state employees". The lion's share of the cost of the gadget is borne by the operator himself, the other part is drawn up in the form subscription fee client, and we see the rest of the amount already on the store window.

If we take into account the “bare” price, it turns out that for 4-4.5 thousand rubles you buy a Tele2 Mini smartphone. Who is the manufacturer of the gadget, the company refuses to specify, referring to the brand's policy, but upon scrupulous analysis of the device, it turned out that 80% of all components belong to the Chinese company Haier.

Positioning

The key task of the device is to provide Tele2 subscribers with access to cellular network type 3G for very modest money. We can say that the Tele2 Mini smartphone coped with this task. Reviews about the price and technical characteristics of the gadget vary greatly in specific forums. Someone would prefer to spend this money on a high-quality 3G dialer with buttons or a clamshell, but someone else was quite satisfied with this option.

Otherwise, if you look at the Tele2 Mini smartphone from all sides (reviews, specifications, etc.), we will see that the range of the gadget's target audience is extremely wide. This includes children who can use the device as a shovel in the sandbox, and respectable gentlemen who want an inexpensive dialer with a smartphone function for two SIM cards. Generally as a gadget entry level this phone will suit many, and the shortage at official points of sale once again confirms this.

Equipment

When you open the box, you will see full set components for this kind of gadgets: the Tele2 Mini smartphone itself, a case (variably), a connecting cable, a 0.7 A charger. The kit also includes a detailed manual and a mediocre headset. It’s worth noting right away that with a regular charger, the phone charges for almost three hours, so it’s better to look for some analogue of an ampere for 2, which will power the Tele2 Mini smartphone in half an hour.

The characteristics of the headset are very modest: the sound quality is lousy, but the interlocutor is more or less audible - thank you for this, you don’t need to run around the markets / salons in search of headphones and obviously spend no extra money and time. The wires and plugs look surprisingly solid, and the plug charger does not walk shaking, as is usually the case with Chinese state employees.

I was also pleased with the competently localized and more than detailed instructions for operation. The Tele2 Mini smartphone as a whole is 100% complete, so after the purchase there is no need to buy anything in addition - you pay and use it.

Design

As for the weight, there are no surprises here. For a 4-inch model, the phone weighs quite normally - 111 grams. The corners of the device have straight outlines, and the case resembles a classic "boat" - all this looks more or less modern, in contrast to the "soap dishes" rounded on all sides.

The only thing that surprised me a little was the protruding camera window: a 2-megapixel peephole without autofocus could be made flush. Otherwise, we have before us quite an ordinary smartphone Tele2 Mini. Reviews about the design vary greatly: some people don’t care what the “dialer” looks like for such a ridiculous price, while others make clear demands for the money spent.

Design

The design as a whole is without pretensions - everything is boring and nothing interesting. There are no backlashes, the cracks are not visually visible, the parts are firmly in place, no crunches or punchings were noticed. Rear end the smartphone “rustles” a little under the fingers, which probably not everyone will like it, but the device does not slip out of the hands, okay.

The layout of the case is standard - a tray with a monoblock. Amateur detailed disassembly showed that the Tele2 Mini smartphone (w3bsit3-dns.com, pdalife, etc.) is equipped with branded (albeit Chinese) components that are signed and numbered, that is, in case of repair they can be replaced without any problems.

The rechargeable battery of the device is of a removable type. The speaker and multimedia grill turned out to be just right: the hole is not blocked by other components and the sounds are not muffled. On the top edge you can see the headphone jack, there is also a connector for micro-USB.

At the bottom of the device there is only a hole for the microphone, and it is strongly shifted to the left side. As for right-handers, this is an ideal option for them, but left-handers will experience some discomfort by buying a Tele2 Mini smartphone. Reviews are full of indignation about this and "infringement of the rights" of almost 20% of all customers. But in any case, during a conversation, the palm does not cover the microphone hole, so this moment cannot be called critical.

The location of the mechanical buttons is standard: the multifunctional power button is on the right, and the volume rocker is on the left side. No backlash or creaking was noticed, but some owners sometimes complain that the buttons are too tight. Still, it's better than the occasional squeeze in your purse or jeans pocket. The rocker and the power button are easy to grope and protrude, as they say, just right.

The Tele2 Mini smartphone (black) has labeled white buttons without backlighting - it is not clear why the manufacturer saved on this moment. Also missing led indicator events, to which the owners reacted with a large number of minuses in the reviews.

Display

Despite the outdated TFT-matrix, the Tele2 Mini smartphone (black) produces a more or less decent picture, and with small turns of the device, the colors on the display are practically not distorted. With a strong change in the viewing angle, the gamma, of course, completely loses its original saturation. Moreover, the darker the image, the stronger the inversion, so with text information(black on a white background) you can work quite comfortably.

The display gives off a certain blueness, and the “branded” wallpapers of the Tele2 operator further exacerbate this effect. Disappointed by the lack of MiraVision technology, which greatly simplifies the work with the settings colors screen, it would be very out of place on this device.

The pixel density per inch is 233 ppi, which is quite good for a budget gadget (average price segment have from 300 ppi). There is also a protective, although ineffective: the finger does not slide well on the screen while working with the gadget.

In their reviews, the owners consider the “fuzziness” of the text to be a fly in the ointment when scrolling quickly, like flipping through VKontakte or Odnoklassniki feeds. Users also noticed some slowdown in rendering the picture.

Communications

The owners did not notice any problems with data transfer, and sometimes a thoroughbred smartphone in some basement refused to catch the network, unlike Tele2 Mini, which, albeit with pauses and slowly, continued to work. The manufacturer promises a theoretical maximum data transfer rate of 21.6 Mbps, but in fact, it was not possible to squeeze out more than 13 Mbps even near the tower.

As for Wi-Fi, there are no complaints here - the network works without problems and losses: the sensitivity is average, as well as the range.

Secondary Characteristics

The owners have no complaints about the sound: the voice speaker turned out to be good, even surpassed similar Chinese mid-range models. Some complain about color distortion when watching videos on YouTube, but the general mass of owners did not see a critical difference. In any case, you should not expect any miracles from an obvious state employee.

If you use smartphone functions occasionally, then the battery will last for a very decent time, although for such a device it would be possible to make more batteries - the thickness of the device is not so important here.

Summarizing

In terms of the combination of features, qualities and functionality, the device more than works out its money. Take the same 4-inch screen, which is simply doomed to popularity these days. If something does not suit you in Tele2 Mini for 2000 rubles, then you can always change it to some iPhone with a “small” surcharge.

An almost identical analogue in our market is a smartphone from MTS "Smart Start 2", but it costs one thousand rubles more. So if you do not make serious demands on your phone and you need an ordinary “dialer” with the basic capabilities of smart gadgets, then “Tele2 Mini” is a very good option.

Tele2, the fastest growing operator cellular communication in Russia, announced the start of sales of 3G smartphones under its own brand. The device was called Tele2 Mini and became the operator's first branded smartphone.

In the real coin, in times of crisis, ordinary people need smartphones for work and study - students, taxi drivers, entrepreneurs. No matter what it's a pity. A year ago, ultra-budget phones were a pain. But in 2016, Tele 2 releases my first Mini phone for 1890 rubles, and Megafon the fourth version of the Login tablet, making it finally work normally and a miracle, have 4G and GLONASS on board for 5,000 rubles!

Back in January 2016, find new smartphone in a store cheaper than physical 3,000 rubles, even with operators with bonuses and discounts, it was not possible (a friend from the army really asked), and here we have an excellent device for 1,890 rubles, but of course with a bunch of compromises.

3.

The device comes in a nice cardboard box.

4.

When considering devices from this price category, you inevitably encounter one difficulty: all these devices often do not differ from each other even externally, let alone the hardware.

Tele2 Mini is sold in black and will soon be available in white. In our review, as it is not difficult to guess, the smartphone of the first color, because. they are more common. The corners of the case have a significant rounding, which is becoming widely spread among budget devices.

5.

On the front panel of the smartphone there is a 4″ display with a TFT matrix, above it there is a slot conversational speaker and peephole front camera. Below the display are the standard icons of the touch keys, they are not backlit.

The device collects only 14,000 parrots. There is no 3D support at all. It will turn out to play casual games, such as 2048 and nothing more.

7.

The set of accessories of our state employee is remarkable only for simple headphones, otherwise the package is standard: 0.7A charger, USB-microUSB cable, user manual and warranty card.

8.

The device is charged for 2 hours through a standard charger, and one and a half, if you take a normal human charge.

9.

A 3.5 mm headphone jack and a microUSB connector are on the top, while the volume rocker and lock key of the smartphone are located on the left and right sides, respectively.

Under the back cover you can find a removable 1500 mAh battery, two slots for SIM cards regular size and a slot for a microSD card up to 32 GB.

With active use, the phone lasts no more than five hours, and if you connect GPS, it will not last even three.

10.

The device is Google Android 5.1 and works quite fast and stable. There were no crashes, freezes or serious glitches, which is very pleasing! But the speed of opening or installing applications sometimes makes you pour tea several times ...

Traditionally, the first step is to update Android System WebView, so that the rest of the applications from the PlayMarket are wound up.

11.

The first slot (right) can work in 2G / 3G mode, and is locked for Tele2 SIM cards, and the second slot is only GSM standard, and it is impossible to change slots from 3G programmatically. But on the other hand, it works with any opera! Although usually branded operator devices have dedicated slots. Tele2 pleasantly surprised me.

12.

I was glad to have FM radio, but it turned out to be bad ... I connected three headphones - interference everywhere, killing the desire to turn on the radio again% (.

The 3G speed test (here is the basic version, without UMTS technology with the HSPA add-on.) shows no more than 5 Mbps ... Social. networks, mail work fine, but something heavy to download or watch Youtube - we are looking for Wi-FI.

13.

The first run of the GPS Test I spent first in the apartment, but alas. I had to go outside. As soon as I did this, the smartphone connected to 6 satellites, and then to the seventh. The positioning accuracy was about 5 meters. Before the second test, I rebooted the smartphone, walked a hundred meters to the side and launched the GPS Test again. 10 satellites were found immediately, 9 of them were constantly used by the smartphone. Location accuracy is 3.5 meters. Search speed, connection and stability in motion by today's standards leave much to be desired, but I think if you want you can find a place on the windshield where everything will work as it should.

Unfortunately, there was no time to measure the cold start time. We can only add that Tele2 Mini uses A-GPS technology, which accelerates the "cold start" of the GPS receiver.

For the convenience of subscribers, the operator's proprietary applications are preinstalled in the device: Tele2 TV and My Tele2.

The amount of built-in memory is 4Gb, but only 1.1 GB is available... A 16 GB SD card will be more than enough. A small jamb with Instagram - the top status bar disappears... But in 3D cards, everything works.

Setting up a SIM card, their priorities are standard.

The pain of all budget devices- cheap TFT-TN matrices with small viewing angles. In Tele2 Mini, just such a one is installed. It is especially annoying when you look at the screen, and the image seen with one eye is different from visible second eye. The colors of the display are distorted even with slight changes in the angle of the screen. To a greater extent, this effect is manifested in landscape orientation, just in this position we watch videos and movies. Obviously, the 4-inch Tele2 Mini display is not very suitable for "movie shows", and it's quite unpleasant to watch something on such a screen together.

In the pictures - a comparison at maximum brightness with Lenovo Vibe X2, 5" Full HD IPS OGS screen, not the best in its class by the way, looks like a diamond!

In cloudy winter weather, the maximum brightness of the screen was more than enough. In the summer, under the bright sun, reading the information on the display may be difficult.

The touch screen is standard for this class of devices. This is probably the minimum below which it is already objectively unpleasant to use a smartphone. The multi-touch test determined a maximum of 2 touches. Moreover, if your fingers are on one horizontal line, then the phone software will average their positions and recognize them as 1 touch.

The back of the Tele2 Mini is notable for the material of the battery cover, it looks like black velvet. To the touch — just a nice matte plastic in a fine mesh. Fingerprints are not very willing to remain on such a surface, and dirt is not collected.

In the upper part there is a large peephole of the main camera, bordered by "chrome" plastic and a flash LED. At the bottom there are two long speaker holes and the Tele2 logo.

It is worth noting that the slots for the speaker are located on the flat surface of the back cover, and there are no special "pimples" to create a gap. Therefore, when the smartphone is lying on the table, the sound will be greatly muffled.

The main camera is good. It has good believable color reproduction, but since its resolution is only 2 megapixels, the pictures inevitably suffer from low detail. But what do you want for 1890 rubles? But in 2016, such pictures already look quite archaic.
With good lighting, you can even try to take a photo of the text, but only for reading from the screen. Programs for digitizing text with images of this quality will not cope.

Ultra-budget smartphones are not chosen for the quality of the camera or the cool large display. They simply do not have all this, and cannot be. They are bought on the basis of the lowest cost and they want to get the highest quality, reliable and convenient device for this money. It is clear that for 1890 rubles it is impossible to make candy. But Tele2 turned out to be a smartphone that fully corresponds to its cost, and the second SIM slot makes it possible to insert any operator: a very kind gesture from the Swedes!

By technical specifications Tele2 Mini is similar to other operator smartphones in this price category (for example, MTS SMART Start 2, but it is 900 rubles more expensive).
That means weak cameras, bad screens, weak GPS and little memory. But Tele2 Mini has a perfectly optimized firmware, which is very pleasing, and smoothes out unpleasant moments in use.

Therefore, making a choice, first of all, is based on the final cost of devices (telco operators often have discounts and promotions for their gadgets) and the convenience of using a new operator for you personally. And if, of course, you manage to find Tele2 Mini for sale - the first batches are so scattered that people sign up in the queue!!!
